This is it. The very last journey of our grand overland (no flying) adventure from Hong Kong. What began as just an idea in a Bangkok hostel, became real as we got our 30 day Chinese visas. In total, it took us 26 days to travel overland from Hong Kong all the way to Beijing. What you’re about to see in this movie is our last 2 crazy days in China as we leave from Beijing and reach the Chinese / Mongolian border of Erenhot (also known as Erlian) where we had no guarantees in anything so it was by far the most difficult part of our journey but much like our month long adventure in China, it was stressful but worth every minute! I can't see any impact on my business so far, but I think it has a bigger impact on a global level. If they have atomic bombs, Japan and South Korea will also develop atomic bombs, then China will be surrounded by countries with nuclear bombs, isn't it a big impact on China?

9. SOUNDBITE(Mandarin) Shi (no first name given), Dandong resident:
China should tighten sanctions on them. We should close the gate and shut them off. We have given them so much money and they used it for developing atomic bombs and hydrogen bombs, regardless of the fact they don't even have enough food to feed themselves. The whole world should take cut-throat measures to perish them.

STORYLINE:
Trucks and trains rumbled across the Chinese-North Korean border on Thursday in a sign that trade was continuing despite Beijing's anger over Pyongyang's purported hydrogen bomb test.
There were no obvious signs of disruption in the northeastern city of Dandong that sits on the Yalu River directly across from North Korea's Sinuiju.
While one local business owner said her business has not been immediately affected by the bomb test announcement, another resident called for China to impose sanctions on Pyongyang.
The two cities are the conduit through which much of North Korea's international trade passes.
North Korea announced on Wednesday it had tested a hydrogen bomb for the first time; one that has been greeted with widespread condemnation - but also scepticism and doubt - across the international community.
China condemned Wednesday's purported test, which sent tremors across parts of northeastern China near the North Korean border and alarmed residents.
