And back at the chateau, we have Indian Night and make Tandoori Chicken in the ancient bread oven. Oh, and there's a bit of seasonal knitting, too!

Here is the whole story about my music : i learnt piano when i was young, at about 10 (don't remember exactly), for two years, then electronic organ for two years. At this period, I was already making my own music, only based on melody...I spent years playing melodies on the piano or organ...
At 18, I was offered an acoustic guitar, a friend of mine showed me the basic chords so that I could compose stuffs with my guitar...
At 21, I bought a multi-tracks synthesizer which allowed me to write more elaborated songs with beats, sounds and melodies. This period lasted for about three years...
In 1999, as I wanted to buy isan's album 'beautronics', I contacted the boss of the tugboat label 'Glen Johnson for getting the record. At the same time, I sent him a tape of my compositions. He gave me a kind answer and asked me to send further tracks...
That's what I did, and he enjoyed the second tape and gave it to a friend label 'static caravan', who released my 7 called 'rhythmi' only based on my tape recordings with a little mastering...
Encouraged by my first release, I bought a computer at the end of 1999 and this was so great, creating sounds became so easy. At that period, I was also in contact with active suspension for another 7'' that should be released later in 2001. After my first 7'' on static caravan, Salvo Pinzone from disastersbychoice in Italia offered me to release a complete album. It was composed during my military service, in a very small room, and is a kind of ambient record with acoustic guitar and synthesizer...
After my second release with static caravan (silica), two guys from Rennes went to meet me in Nantes, we had a drink at the 'place du commerce', and they told me they had bought my 'silica' record in London and wanted to do an album with me (a possible way for spending time)...
I kept contact with all those labels and made several releases with some of them. As I was a great fan of audiodregs, I sent them a kind of compilation of unreleased tracks that never came out, I sent them later a new demo that was my 'anaemia' album...
In 2002, I met stephane who runs the webzine 'autres directions' for an interview in Nantes, we became friends, when he told me he intended to create his own label 'autres directions in music', I said I was OK for mp3 releases. Then we released the pseudo pop album 'la tete qui flotte'...

我的名字叫Alexander Pawlak。我今年23歲，來自凡爾賽，這也是我年輕時就學的地方。18歲起，我決心專注於互動式設計，換句話說，就是一個設計我們世界的新工具，它還能以一種看不見的方法，幫助人性朝向光明面。我是法國西部土生土長的人，那裏擁有美麗的大自然景觀。
藉由我的攝影美學，我找到了一個新方法，它可以將我看大自然的視野轉化而為一種新的觀點。當你細細的審視一隻昆蟲，你將會關心生命細微的環節。運動也是我生命中很大的一部分，我喜歡跑步和騎自行車，它們是我逃避這瘋狂的世界和找尋新點子的方法。
我們兩人四年前在學校相遇。頭兩年，我們修相同的課。第三年後，每位學生必須在產品設計、互動式設計、包裝設計以及行動設計中選擇一個科系就讀。在學習過程中，我們也必須選擇參與一個實習或學術交流或是學習旅行。
My name is Gaël Martineau. I am 23 years old. I come from Angers, a town in the North West of France. I lived there until 18 years old before moving to Paris to study Design in a private school named Strate College Designers.
I study Design for four years now. Product Design more precisely. It seems very interesting to me because it treats a mass of different items like a spoon, a chair or a hair dryer... I like the idea of designing our material environment.
When I'm not studying, I enjoy seeing exhibitions, going to the cinema and sometimes playing badminton to get rid of my stress.
My name is Alexander Pawlak. I'm 23 years old and I'm from Versailles, where I've studied during my youth. Since I was 18, I've decided to focus on Interactive Design which is, - I think - a new tool to Design our world, and to help humanity in a brighter but unseen way. I'm a native in the west of France, where wild nature and beautiful landscapes are so wonderful.
My sight from nature with the use of my photography aesthetic made me find a new way to look at my world. When you take a close up of an insect, then you care about the details of life that Mother Nature gave us. Sports also take a big portion in my life, I like to run and ride a bike, this is my way to escape from our crazy world and find new ideas.
So we met at school four years ago. For two years we followed the same education. In the third year, each student had to choose one department between Product Design, Interactive Design, Packaging Design and Transport/Mobility Design.
During our studies, we also have to do either an internship or an Academic exchange or a Study Tour.
We needed to explore another part of the world, to go out of the western frontiers. In fact, we needed adventure! Consequently, we chose the Study Tour in Vietnam. In addition we thought that it could be a good idea to share this experience with our complementary educations. At last we hoped to reinforce links between ourselves and also with all people we were supposed to meet in Vietnam.
This adventure has really marked our minds because we have a new vision of the world, and also of design. It has also allowed us to develop our autonomy and senses of responsibilities. This trip in Vietnam was a very good experience.

Favorite Recordings proudly presents Natureza, first album of Joao Selva. The story of Natureza is made of the meeting between two passionate artists who are Jonathan Matuto Da Silva and Bruno Patchworks Hovart.
Born and raised in Ipanema and son of a pastor, Jonathan Da Silva grew up in a community of ex-prisoners and converted artists. He made his first guitar notes before his 10th birthday, under the watchful eye of Wanda Sa (muse of the bossa nova), and influenced by a father who in addition to his work, was also a true music lover with a collection, where black music, rock and classical meet. From the age of 18, Jonathan began a life of entertainer, traveling the world to offer shows for disadvantaged children and intensively practicing the Brazilian traditional music arts (Capoeira Angola, Maracatu, Samba de Roda, Coco de Roda...). It was later in France and in Lyon that he put down his instruments. There he formed the trio Forro de Rebeca in 2008, touring the all country and winning many praise in media. The trio recently joined forces with American producer Maga Bo on the project Sociedade Recreativa, whose album was released in 2016 on The Jarring Effects label.
Bruno Hovart is a recognized producer, multi-instrumentalist, and remixer. After passing through Angers, Birmingham and London, he’s based in Lyon since 2001. Bassist and guitarist for various bands, he switched to production in the mid-90s. Passionate about music and tireless creator, Bruno has practiced in almost every imaginable style, when it comes to groove music, collecting many aliases and projects for more than 10 years: Patchworks, Voilaaa, Uptown Funk Empire, Mr President, Taggy Matcher, Mr. Day, Hawa, John Milk, Lightnin 3, The Dynamics or Metropolitan Jazz Affair ... Nothing resists and escapes his talent and production skills. Thus, when he discovered and met Jonathan and his music, Bruno saw an immediate opportunity to broaden the spectrum of his discography a little more, by looking at Brazil.
Beyond its traditional heritage, Brazil has always been a land of extremely varied music, influenced by the international scene. Soul, Jazz and American Pop did inspire many local stars such as Chico Buarque, Carlos Jobim, Gilberto Gil, Tom Zé, or Erasmo Carlos. Both fervent lovers of this movement and these names, it’s with the idea to pay them a faithful tribute, that Jonathan and Bruno began the Joao Selva adventure. Together they gave birth to Natureza and embark us for a trip into the heart of the Tropicalist Pop influences of Jorge Ben and Caetano Veloso, the intoxicating Funk of Tim Maia, and the social poetry of Vinicius de Moraes.
