Bloomington IL Schools Aback Downtown Bar Patron Trespasses and Allegedly Steals Business Sign
This video shows that despite the stepped up police presence, it is not a deterrent to downtown bar patron vandalism. Two trespassers enter the downtown business property and one of the trespassers allegedly steals a metal Private Property sign from the fire escape and carries it back to the party bus before leaving the downtown. This is happening almost every weekend to at least some downtown property. The City spends more a year policing this bar district for the benefit a handful of bar owners, and yet the taxpayers are subsidizing it, as the downtown bars do not bring in sufficient revenue to pay for the policing and damage repair to the downtown. So why does city council continue to spend so much municipal capital protecting these bars, when clearly it only the bar owners who benefit. No other group of downtown businesses get this kind of municipal support on the taxpayers dime?

Couple Stunned After They’re Charged With Murder in Death of 10-Month-Old
A Michigan couple has been charged with murder for allegedly starving their 10-month-old daughter to death. Seth Welch and his wife, Tatiana, both 27, stand accused of starving their infant daughter, Mary. She was found dead in their home near Grand Rapids on August 2. Seth’s jaw dropped when the judge read off the charges and Tatiana sobbed uncontrollably during the hearing. An autopsy revealed the cause of Mary’s death was malnutrition and dehydration due to neglect by adult caregivers.
City of Bloomington IL Who Are They Who Are Above The Law?
Downtown Bloomington IL bar district and you can see first hand how the kangaroo law enforcement continues. You can see Bloomington Police officers actually performing their duties as they are supposed to, and then you get see the police give certain people above the law status, not enforcing the law very openly and in the taxpayer's faces, that are paying an extreme premium in municipal expense, just to allow bar patrons and certain establishments not to be held accountable to the rules and ordinances. And this sort of kangaroo enforcement has been going on for years, a lot of it has been captured on video, but nothing seems to be done about it. And it is pretty much in the downtown residents faces, and other not so privileged bar patrons who are held accountable for their actions. Taxpayers are paying a small fortune to have the laws in the downtown enforced because of 6 to 8 downtown bars. And this kind of behavior caught many times on video just undermines the credibility of the police and the City Council that continues to allow this sort of behavior to continue. It is also why no one really wants to invest in the downtown, when you continue to see this sort of treatment of some violators, and others can just either walk or drive away with impunity. Who wants any part of that kind of kangaroo enforcement?
