MOROCCAN FOOD COOKING CLASS | Marrakech Travel Vlog
We took a cooking class in Marrekch!! We learned how to make 5 different moroccan salads, tajine, and a light desert. The experience was booked through AirBnb and we'll link it below!! We had such a great time and we'd recommend Leila's cooking class to EVERYONE (we aren't paid to say this - we paid full price for the class and are just giving our honest opinion). The best part (besides the tastiness of the food) was meeting new friends!! Thanks to Heather, Abbie, Ashley, Gavin, Christina (not pictured), Yasser, and Chef Leila of course for having a great time with us!!
During this vlog, we still haven't received our bags yet!!

Taste of Morocco - Lars eating Takoyaki in Essaouira Morocco
Lars gave escargot a try the other night and tonight it was octopus in little balls. It was a Japanese street stand with Takoyaki covered in clam sauce. For many this isn't any big deal, but it was a first for Lars. This was actually a traditional Japanese dish, made by a street vendor in Essaouira. How's that for a multicultural experience?
(Takoyaki is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion)
An American family of 4, living in Spain, embracing the world, sharing our experiences and hoping to inspire.

Andrew Zimmern Talks Moroccan Food
Bizarre Foods Host, Andrew Zimmern, talks Moroccan food. Learn the kitchen tool you need to make Moroccan food, and some of the best food you can find in Morocco.
Andrew Zimmern, so good to see you. I like to think that you travel the world on your stomach in search of bizarre foods. You are correct; it's kind of going out the door mouth first. One of the trends our customers are seeing is Moroccan. North African food is one of the most misunderstood cuisines. First of all, people forget that Morocco has a massive coast line. The seafood in Essaouira is unbelievable. What's my tool that I need for Moroccan cooking in my kitchen? A Tajine. A clay tajine will do a lot for you but the most misunderstood part of Moroccan cuisine is how great the fruit and vegetable are. The volcanic soil in middle of the crevices in the mountains gives some really incredible product. So, I encourage people to cook the food, but really go to Morocco, it's an experience. What a treat it has been talking to you here in the tents today Andrew.

Food New England: Moroccan Mysteries
Lisa, a Private Investigator, takes us to her favorite new restaurant: Tangierino in Charlestown, samples their delicious appetizer, the Moroccan-Sicilian Eggplant Tagine - crispy eggplant filled with parmesan, mozzarella & goat cheese, charmoula; and for her entree, she orders their Couscous Royal - braised lamb shank, spiced merguez over seven vegetable couscous. Lisa then goes down to their lounge and for dessert, smokes a mint hookah! Dir/Cam/Editor: R. Mighty
