Quinney's bush campground swimming hole, Split Apple rock beach north of Kaiteriteri, Motueka salt water pool, Tahunanui beach, and the infamous Riwaka river resurgence.
In Kaiteriteri they also have kayaking and other attractions like the water taxis and cruise boats.

The elusive Mulloway is a species I havent regularly targeted in the past. This year, I would like to tick it off my list so heres to it!

NEW YEAR - 2020 Port Stephens / Русские в Австралии
Port Stephens is a large, well protected, natural harbour which covers 134 square kilometres and spans the 24 km between the mouth of the Karuah River to the headlands at Mount Tomaree and Yacaaba Head at Hawks Nest. The harbour shoreline is dominated by tiny villages - Tahlee, Bundabah, Hawks Nest, Oyster Cove, Tanilba Bay. Corlette, Lemon Tree Passage and Tea Gardens. On the south-eastern shoreline there is a continuous urban development which stretches from Shoal Bay to Soldiers Point and includes Salamander Bay, Nelson Bay and the small township of Port Stephens. The port is characterised by small bays and the estuaries of the Myall River, Tilligerry Creek and the Karuah River. There are quiet, white sandy beaches and scrubby bushland. Historically much of the land was owned by the Australian Agricultural Company (AAC) but by the 1950s it became a popular holiday resort destination and desirable retirement location for people from Sydney and Newcastle. Its great appeal was that it was under-developed and therefore modestly priced and pleasantly sleepy. Today there are exclusive accommodation options at Corlette and Nelsons Bay and the port' is and ideal place for recreational activities including game fishing, beach and rock fishing, sailing, cruising, boat and houseboat charters, bushwalking, horse riding, surfing, water skiing, swimming and parasailing.

Hey reefers this video is a short fishing video that i filmed while i was away on my summer break. I had the best fight with the stingray on very light gear and although the rest were just tidlers it made the short time out on the water worth the while.

1st Glenelg River Trip
Went away with the boys Shane Williams, Joel Parr, Mat Forbes and myself for a few days on our 1st trip to Genelg River, Nelson. We were after the 1m+ Mulloway. Didnt quiet get it but got a few smaller models and alot of Estuary Perch and Bream. Great few days and i think it will be a annual trip.

Sea Lion at Nelson, Victoria, Australia
I swam to within 10m of this Bull Australian Sea Lion on 4th January 2013 in the Glenelg River estuary at Nelson, when the temperature was 41 degrees C and the Kentbruck Bushfire had just started. My commentary was drowned-out by wind noise. The Sea Lion at that point, made all of the warning movements which you will see here and then looked straight at me and let out a breathy 'roar'. I got the message, swam away to the other side of the river and filmed him on maximum zoom. A beautiful creature that probably wouldn't have been aggresive in the water but I think he may be a much better swimmer than me, so I took no chances.

Glenelg River Mouth Flats
This is a video of my kayak trip to the mouth of the Glenelg River at Nelson, Victoria, Australia. Although I wasn't successful in catching a fish due to excessive winds, I thought it would be interesting for those who are contemplating travelling over there with their yaks to see the layout of the land.

Catching the fastest growing fish in the ocean | Fishing Australia
Casting lures on top water has never been so fun catching these amazing fish. Soft plastics, hard bodies and metal spinners were doing damage with Lowie showing us how it's done in the early morning. Jetting out from Pork Hacking we launched into the deep blue out to the fads fishing for these amazing fish.
Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish/Dorado) are the fastest growing wild fish species known to man. When in the right condition, the dolphin fish can grow as fast as 3.3cm to 6.8cm in a week! The name Mahi Mahi comes from the Hawaiian language meaning very strong. Mahi Mahi will change colour from a bluey green in the water to slowly fading to a green and gold once they are dead. What an incredible fish they are!

Fishing in Nelson Bay NSW
It was awesome today fishing with my son Khaled with Fish Port Stephens Estuary Charter. We watched dolphins swim by and beautiful ducks fly by. We caught so much fish and heaps of whiting and this beautiful Banjo Shark which we threw back in. Took back heaps of Whiting to cook up later. We will definitely be back again. #summerfishing
