Exploring Koror Palau
Our first days in Koror, Palau were spent exploring the town from our wonderful hotel, Rose Garden Resort. We visited the Eptison Museum with Elvis and also the Belau Museum. The best part of the day was the double rainbow! They say that Palau is at the edge of paradise and we loved our stay!
During our stay we enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling with Sam's Tours and SCUBA diving with NECO Marine. A bucket list highlight was to swim in Jellyfish Lake and to see and stay in the Rock Islands.
See all our Palau movies to learn more about what to do and where to go! We can highly recommend Palau as we had a wonderful visit.

Palau Road Trip
We decided to rent a car in The Republic of Palau, a chain of islands in the Pacific between the Philippines and Guam. Across from our hotel, the Palau Hotel was a rent-a-car place that was really inexpensive! $30 a day for the whole day!
While Jess loves to plan out adventures, Ben enjoys spur of the moment days. We drove around the 16 states of Palau and saw a few cool spots. We stumbled upon the Etpison Museum and learned about Palauan culture and history and ended the day at the Nagadrmau Waterfall!
We got a bit lost looking for the waterfall, but after a 20 minute hike found the main trail and got to play in the water. It then started to rain and we had to stomp around in the mud on the way up. Luckily we had a dry bag to protect our camera gear. All in all, it was quite an adventure!
Thanks for watching!

Long-Awaited Kramer Volumes Now Available Online
The highly anticipated Kramer volumes are now available online for download following the official handover of the English translated volumes in late May 2014.
In the early 1900's, renowned German ethnologist Dr. Augustin Kramer recorded details about the culture and life of Palauans, information that can greatly benefit the Republic. However it was not until four years go when Palau Ethnology Translation Project was established to translate the German volumes into English.
Five translated volumes of Kramer's research were donated to Palau in May; however only four are available for download while the remaining volume is pending final review. This volume will be available by the end of August.
With these five volumes translated, the Project will continue in its mission by focusing on translating Dr. Kramer's remaining volumes on the South Seas Expedition. President Remengesau who earlier expressed commitment to provide financial support for the Project has donated $10,000 towards their completion.
The translated volumes can be accessed and downloaded through the Belau National Museum website at belaunationalmuseum.net or through Etpison Museum at etpisonmuseum.org.
PDF or electronic copies of the volumes will also be available for download at the Palau Community College library.

Featuring coral reefs, blue holes, hidden caves and tunnels, more than 60 vertical drop-offs to play with, and an astonishing spectrum of coral, fish, and rare sea creatures. There are also some outright miracles of evolution such as a lake teeming with 21 million softly pulsating, stingless jellyfish.
Beautiful island camping in West Sumatra Palau Sirandah
Sirandah is one of the many beautiful islands in West Sumatra, cristal clear water, clean beaches. I wished I could go to the other island around there. It was my second time camping in an island. Not as good as on the top of a mountain but still love it. Thanks for spending some time checking my videos. I hope you enjoy them.
