On a tour with Daintree River Wildlife Cruise to see bird, frogs and crocodiles. Between Cape Tribulation and Port Douglas lies the Daintree River. The area is full of wildlife with birds, neon green tree frogs and huge crocodiles. This afternoon we got to see several saltwater crocodiles, beautiful birds and neon green frogs. View photos at:

Life in Mungarra Reserve Petrie Queensland
Some of the life at Mungarra Reserve Petrie and under the surface in the waterholes. Nice native fish and some ferals.
Fishspotting, Gold Creek
Three views of Gold Creek, Brisbane. The creek was dammed in 1882, creating the Gold Creek Reservoir. The catchment above the reservoir lies exclusively in the D'Aguilar National Park and is largely unaffected by human activity. Attempts were made to introduce European fish species in the dam in the late 1800s (red-finned perch, tench, carp), but I haven't been able to confirm whether this was successful.
Locations include a waterhole in the creek below the reservoir, a small secondary dam below the reservoir wall, and a creek location in the national park above the reservoir. Filmed late February 2017. Sound recorded on-site.
