Syria: SAA gains control of Al-Baghiliyah district on western bank of Euphrates *EXCLUSIVE*
The Syrian Arab Army gained full control of Al-Baghiliyah district, located northeast of Deir ez-Zor, on Friday, coming face-to-face with the US-backed militias on the west side of the Euphrates River.
The Syrian Army has been focusing on clearing the east bank of the Euphrates from fighters of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIL/ISIS), while the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, (SDF) have consolidated their control over the west.
A spokesman of the SDF has reportedly stated that Syrian Arab Army troops will not gain permission to cross the Euphrates in establishing control over the entirety of Deir ez-Zor province.
The SAA broke the three-year-long siege on Deir ez-Zor on 5 September, significantly reducing crucial supply routes for IS.

Syria War Syrian Army Helmet Cam GoPro Combat Heavy Clashes With ISIS During Combat In Abu Kamal
Video released by the Syrian Army shows Syrian Army helmet cam GoPro combat footage during heavy clashes between the Syrian Army and ISIS during combat in the battle for Abu Kamal, Syria.
The scenes feature intense close urban combat showing the Syrian army advancing in heavy firefights during street to street battles and house to house fighting in order to clear the city from ISIS presence.
According to Syrian media the Syrian army raids were successful and Syrian government tropps and its allies were able to liberate the town.
bu Kamal or Al-Bukamal is a city on the Euphrates river in the Deir ez-Zor Governorate of eastern Syria near the border with Iraq. It is the administrative centre of the Abu Kamal District and the local subdistrict (Abu Kamal Subdistrict). Just to the south-east is the Al-Qa'im border crossing to the town of Husaybah in the Al-Qa'im District of Iraq's Al Anbar Governorate.
Owing to its distance from the frontline, the town would see little fighting between its capture by ISIL in 2014 and ISIL's retreat in 2017. During the lull in conflict, the town was the target of a failed opposition attack by the US-backed New Syrian Army in June 2016; the offensive lasted only a day and led to a total reversal of New Syrian Army advances to Abu Kamal.
On October 14, 2017 the Syrian Arab Army took the city of Mayadin, located 80 kilometers from Abu Kamal. After that Abu Kamal was the only large city that remained under control of ISIS.
On October 25, the road Al Qaim – Abu Kamal – Mayadin – Deir ez-Zor was blocked after a series of airstrikes conducted by Russian Air Force.
From 1 to 4 November 6 Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bombers conducted airstrikes on ISIS objects near Abu Kamal. On November 7 the SAA started operation to take Abu Kamal with support of allied forces, like the Iranian-backed Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).[14].
On 9 November 2017, ISIL retreated from the town, leaving fighters dispersed in villages and small towns in the desert. Army spokesman Gen. Ali Mayhoub stated.
″The liberation of Abu Kamal is of great importance because it is a declaration of the fall of this group’s project in the region generally and the collapse of its supporters’ illusions to divide it, control large parts of the Syria-Iraq borders and secure supply routes between the two countries.″
One day later Commander of the Russian force grouping in Syria Colonel General Sergei Surovikin confirmed the retaking of Abu Kamal:
“Units of the 5th Assault Corps, assault groups of brigadier general Suheil and militias with support of Russian Air Force took part in liberating Abu Kamal. In the final stages of hostilities the Syrian Arab Army gained control over the Syrian-Iraqi border near the Euphrates River”.
On November 11, the city was however recaptured by ISIL.
The Syrian Army and its allies retook complete control of the city by 19 November.

Pickup drives over IED and explodes; Deir ez-Zor, Syria, March 2019
... an assad regime pickup drives over a hidden booby trap and immediately explodes.
Deir ez-Zor (Arabic: دير الزور Dayr az-Zūr; Syriac: ܕܝܪܐ ܙܥܘܪܬܐ Dayrāʾ Zəʿōrtāʾ) is the largest city in eastern Syria and the seventh largest in the country. Located 450 km (280 mi) to the northeast of the capital Damascus on the banks of the Euphrates River, Deir ez-Zor is the capital of the Deir ez-Zor Governorate. In the 2004 census, it had a population of 211,857 people.

You Tube. The place were we all share what we wish to share on videos: private life or what pets can do or promoting favorite stuff even when we get sponsored for. There's almost nothing we don't share on posted videos.
But, posting videos is under tighten restrictions nowadays. It wasn't when I had my first You Tube account in 2011. I have had many accounts at that time. Since the tighten restrictions only two are left. One for various stuff and the other for my Syria assessment which is launched last March 1, 2018.
Why this channel?
The current situation in Syria ... that means what a few individuals have made, and still are making of it .... has vanished the real issue, vanished the real cause that have led to the current situation in Syria. Not ISIL or Deash. Not any other insane group. They wouldn't be in Syria if there was a decently and humane conducting government. But, Syria never has known such government.
I found myself the feeling to set things right by doing just one thing: reconstructing the whole period: from 2011 to the present time of today. Reconstructing, but without giving any comment, any information about each posted video except when and were is taken. Every information I would like to provide will only prompt to opposing, rejection, or worse utmost criticism or even (false) flagging. In other words: let each video tell you what have happened.
Over the years, there are thousands of videos collected: from demonstrations in 2011 to the current war of today.
As you already might know, each You Tube account has a limit of uploaded video posts. I cannot upload all videos. I have to select and in particular in accordance to the guidelines. That's very difficult because it threatens to pull the overall context apart. Here's why:
I follow Syria since February 2011 when there were already demonstrations but not the Arab Spring.
The very first demonstration was on February 24, 2011 was not really a demonstration but a rally to celebrate the death of the Libyan dictator Gaddafi. He was killed on this day. The rally was seen as a message to Bashar al-Assad.
Three days later, there was another demonstration but against the police in Damascus who held a man in jail. The man could only be released if he paid a ransom. The man couldn't. I do not know how the public got noticed but it prompted to a protest against corruption by the police. It is this incident that was the very beginning of the Syria uprising not the protest in Daraa which broke out in March 2011.
The demonstrators in Damascus where the first Syrians who chanted for freedom. This event is not only historic but also the educational start of this channel.
My channel is meant for viewers who are not interested in the politics behind the entire topic about Syria. So, recommended to viewers who simply wish to know how it all started and how it al have developed into the current situation in Syria.
It's learning history by watching real content. Each video post includes a restriction warning to meet the guidelines of YouTube.

ISIS terrorists filmed retreating from Albukamal towards SDF lines
The Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists were filmed by pro-government media retreating from their former stronghold of Albukamal to the areas controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
A video released by the pro-government channel, Al-Watan, claimed that the Islamic State terrorists slipped out of Albukamal by crossing the Euphrates River and reached the front-lines of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
We is unable to verify the authenticity of the video, nor has the Syrian Army commented on this claim by Al-Watan.
The Islamic State did in fact cross the Euphrates River after abandoning Albukamal, but their whereabouts following the retreat are unknown.
This latest video comes just hours after a document was leaked claiming the Islamic State and SDF have an ongoing ceasefire in the Al-Hasakah Governorate.

The ballistic missiles reportedly targeted Abu Kamal, a city on the Euphrates River in the Deir ez-Zor Governorate of eastern Syria, near the border with Iraq and was followed by an airstrike carried out by seven UAVs (Unmanned aerial vehicles).
The missiles were launched under the name ‘Muharram strike’ and travelled a reported distance of 570 kilometres (355 miles) before reaching its targets.
