Who are we?

We are Sara and Stephen, a UK mum and son based in a small English town near Liverpool.
In 2017 we sold most of our things, we quit our job and school and set off on an adventure of a lifetime to South East Asia.

We are passionate about travel, adventure, compassionate living and creating your dream life. After over a year of full time travel Stephen decided he wanted to attend public school back in the UK so our full time travel adventure came to an end and we settled back into life in cold, rainy England.

We are now a foster family and currently have 3 young children living with us Squirt, Curls and Minnie (not their real names!)

We try to pack as much family adventure into our days as possible and share videos from fantastic family friendly places around the world.

So as an early birthday treat for Livvy we took a road trip to Halifax to visit Eureka Children's Museum. It was a fantastic day, there was so much to see and do. In fact we loved it so much we are already trying to decide when we can go back again.

A Trip to Eureka! - Halifax

We had a day out at Eureka! Located in Halifax, Yorkshire. We've been before and it's always a fantastic day out learning loads about the body, science, and generally many aspects of life. It's all hands-on so you learn loads while exploring the place. There was a Steampunk Science event on when we went so we learnt a little extra this time too. The car park was full, although we managed to find one of the last spaces available so it turned out fine. The car park ticket machine accepted cash, cards and contactless as did the café. After spending 3-4 hours we concluded it was another awesome day! Highly recommended! #eurekamuseum

This video takes a close look at one of our recent Microworlds at Eureka! The National Children's Museum, in Halifax in the North of England. The video explains how the audience can interact with the various creatures and how all the screens are connected.

Thanks to the Lumen Prize for organising this show (along with many other great interactive art works) and to The Eureka! Museum and their brilliant enablers and tech team who bring the show to life for the public visitors. The show is still on now - and runs until mid November 2019.
