SECRET KOREAN STREET FOOD tour of SEOUL'S HIDDEN food alleys | Korean BBQ town, Tteokbokki town...
SEOUL in SOUTH KOREA is a place for food lovers! Hidden all over the city are food towns and streets dedicated to serving a particular dish and in this series we’re setting out to find some of them in this Korean street food tour. We’re all about LOCAL food and finding the best spots to eat in a city so make sure you’re subscribed to our channel so you don’t miss out on heaps more food videos

***********************************************************************
We start with tteokbokki- one of Korea’s most popular street foods-rice cakes slathered in gochujang sauce. We head to tteokbokki town where around 10 restaurants specialise in tteokbokki hotpots. Tteokbokki, instant noodles, vegetables, egg and a range of other tasty ingredients are cooked together in a gochujang sauce at the table over a gas cooker.
Our next stop is for Korean BBQ a must eat when you’re visiting Korea! Korean BBQ town is located within Majang Meat Market so the meat is super fresh. We dive into a gigantic Korean BBQ feast of different cuts of beef and all of the accompanying banchan (side dishes).
We finish at Sundae Town! Sundae is Korean blood sausage- it’s made up of pig’s blood and cellophane noodles and is cooked at the table in various styles. We eat baek sundae or “white sundae” made up of sundae, various vegetables and noodles- the specialty of Sundae Town!
Where we ate:
Tteokbokki town, 서울특별시 중구 신당동 다산로33길 10-18. Open lunch and dinner.
Restaurant in Korean BBQ town, 761-8, Majang-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Open in the evening.
Ttsuni Sundae at Sundae town, 서울특별시 관악구 신림동 1640-31. Open 24 hours.

Korea Private Tourist guide: Pam Kim (Licensed)
I was born and raised in Korea until I was 15 years old, then I resided in Canada for 17 years. I decided to become a tour guide in Korea after I traveled around the world because it made me realized that I love Korean culture, history, food, and people!
I have conducted more than 200 professional tours with more than 1,000 travelers from 65 different countries. I speak native level Korean and English and I can also bring both the Eastern and the Western cultures together and keep you interested while we explore this amazing country.
Let's have some fun and experience the authentic Korean local food and culture!
Apartment tour of my apartment in Seoul, South Korea
Life isn't too scary living next to North Korea. Seoul is located around 60 some kilometers away from the DMZ (demilitarized zone) and life is continuing on as usual.
We were asked how apartments look like in Seoul. There are many different types of layout, sizes etc (the use a system called pyongs instead of square footage).
They range from one rooms apartments to rooms with separated bedrooms (usually people with families have separated bedrooms).
Since I am a bachelor, I have a nice one room apartment (around 10 pyongs = to 356 square foot; according to google)
This apartment isn't a norm though, since I was lucky to find a nice apartment with a private terrace. Enjoy my apartment tour of what some of us live in in Seoul, South Korea
GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE ( 경복궁) in SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA???????? DIY TOUR
Hey guys, this is actually my second time here in Seoul, South Korea and we’ve been visited a lot of places here. I wasn’t able to put them all together because it’s really long, so if you want to see some of my Seoul trip please subscribe on my channel and don’t forget to hit the bell button.
Actually I didn’t follow my itinerary because I’m having a hard time taking care of my kids while filming this video, so we went to Gyeongbokdung Palace right away because this is one of the famous tourist spots here where you can usually see some Korean dramas.
