TEQUILA TOUR + Tequila Tasting in Tequila, Mexico ????????
We only had one day to spend in Tequila, Mexico so, OF COURSE, we went on a tour of the Jose Cuervo Tequila Factory!!! This has been our favorite day in Mexico - HANDS DOWN! We started with a tour of the factory and, with our amazing guide, we learned what makes a great Tequila. After our tour, we had a small private tasting with a few other guests and learned the proper way to taste and drink tequila. It was an awesome day and we only wish we had more time to spend in this charming city.

(And, of course we know Mexico is in the Americas, however Americans is also a common name used to describe people from the United States of America. Just as Mexicans is a common name used to describe people from United Mexican States. Calling ourselves U.S. Citizens doesn't flow off the tongue as well and simply isn't the name we call ourselves. Plus, the title works well as click bait... ;-) It got you to watch!)

When you explore mexico, make sure you sign up for the Jose Cuervo's Tequila Mexico Tour in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. It is an excellent one day excursion from the city of Guadalajara (1 hour drive). or even Puerto Vallarta (3 hours).
You also have the option of traveling to Tequila from Guadalajara on the luxury Jose Cuervo Express train, a 2 hour ride through the countryside. Snacks and drinks come with the package.
You can tour Jose Cuervo's farm fields where they grow their blue agave plants and learn about growing process.
From there you can go into the town of Tequila to take the tour of their distillery plant. Special guides will lead you on a well thoughtout exploration of each process of the distillation.
And of course their will be taste testings!
You can try the 3 main types of Tequila; Blanco (Silver), Reposado (aged), and Añejo (extra aged).
Later you can visit the shops where you purchase Tequila which comes in many packaging options. A stroll around the town of Tequila is also part of the fun.
There are some other company distilleries you can check out there as well.
Please note that I am not being compensated in any way by the Jose Cuervo Company to promote their Tequila tour.

Distillery trip report of our visit to Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico - The Tequila Tester
We recently visited Jalisco, Mexico with the purpose of visiting distilleries to see in person how tequila is made. We start in Tlaquepaque and visit a store that holds the Guinness World Record for most tequila brands in a store. We then take the Herradura tequila train in Guadalajara to their distillery to see the process and sample their tequila. Our next stop is to the town of tequila where we have drinks and then head off to Fortaleza. We were able to interview Guillermo Sauza and have a private tour of his distillery.

Visiting Tequila, Mexico (YES, IT'S REALLY A TOWN!) | Laureen Uy
First things first, please watch my Mexico trip part 1 here so you get to enjoy this video even more.
On our third day in Mexico, we rode the Jose Cuervo express train from Guadalajara to Tequila (yes, there's really a town called Tequila). Honestly, our three days there was so magical, I felt like I was in Disneyland, but better. The place is so picturesque that I told myself to stop taking pictures in every freaking corner. We went to the Blue Agave Fields and learned so much about harvesting and the entire distillation process of Tequila. Thank you so much Jose Cuervo for this amazing experience and I'm glad I was able to film some parts so I can share it to my followers.
Also, I'm giving away a few items I got from Tequila Town:
1. Jose Cuervo bottle
2. Silver flask
3. #ThisIsTheShxt hat
4. Jose Cuervo chocolates with tequila filling (that you can't find anywhere here)
All you have to do is share this video to your followers whether it be on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (better if all three lol), comment below once done and tell me which platform you shared it. Contest will end on June 16. Good luck! x

COZUMEL MEXICO- TEQUILA TOUR & TASTING.
HELLO Girlfriends! Husband and I samoled enough TEQUILA for each one of you! Lol. Oh yes we did. The TEQUILA at this place is NOT like TEQUILA that can spin your head around and tastes like rubbing alcohol. It was so smooth as the Guide said that I didn't experience that AND no need for salt and lime. We looked at all the TEQUILA places to see if he was pulling our leg and it was not sold in any store, in any flavor but there at his place. The flavored ones could become a Breakfast drink very easily. Lol. I hope you enjoy this video. Hugs-Rebecca

Mexico Tequila Experience
Honeymoon in July 2006
Tequila Dos Erres Reposado
Tequila Dos Erres Reposado (NOM 1465) is one of the most surprising and exciting tequilas that I have recently tasted.
This tequila is made in Arandas, Jalisco using traditional production methods.
Priced at roughly $9.00 USD (In Mexico), you will have a very hard time finding tequila that delivers the experience that Dos Erres does.
If I could describe this reposado tequila in three words, they would have to be:
-Strong
-Quality
-Smooth
Dos Erres Reposado is incredibly tasty and punches above its price tag.
Those who prefer a soft-tasting tequila might complain about the intense taste of Dos Erres.
If you're like me and appreciate all types of tequila - you'll definitely like what this reposado has to offer.
If you want to learn more, I highly recommended that you stop by and check out the full review, here:
7 Tequila Facts for Cinco de Mayo! Tequila Styles, Agave and the Worm?
Today let's talk about 7 tequila facts to help celebrate Cinco de Mayo. What's the deal with the worm in tequila...or mezcal? What are the different categories of tequila to pay attention to and how long does tequila last?
Our Store:
Coupon code: CINCO18 to save 18% until June 1st 2018.
Cinco de Mayo, which isn’t widely celebrated in Mexico, commemorates an underdog victory over France in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The victory was galvanizing for the Mexican forces — and for those supporting them from afar — but it was short-lived, as France later occupied Mexico for a few years. Still, Cinco de Mayo continued to be celebrated in Puebla and, perhaps more significantly, by Mexican-Americans north of the border.
And, today, most of us are just looking for a fun holiday as the weather warms up--an excuse to drink tequila and margaritas. So, whatever, let us embrace the fun.
With such fun, wouldn't it also be cool to learn a few facts about tequila? Tequila facts for you today! Get to watching!
