Walking to the Stockholm City Hall in Sweden
on a SPB Tour walking down the street to the City hall Building in Stockholm
Stockholm, City Of Islands... Sweden
Visited City Hall's marvellous Gyllene salen, the Golden Hall, The Blue Hall where the Nobel Prize banquets are held. We walked through Old Town and explored the Royal Palace.
Stockholm Walks: Norrmälarstrand to City Hall
Stockholm is all islands. This walk is along the shore of Kungsholmen (”kingisland”) - a popular, and quite busy Sunday walk in February sunshine. From the park Rålambshov where the skateboardes and kick-bikers hang out under the bridge, along the shore line Norr Mälarstrand and ending up at City Hall with a marvelous view over the city.

MTB Weekend Road Trip To Trysil and Sälen
Me and two friends took the weekend to explore the bike parks in Trysil and Sälen for the first time.
We had a blast and both parks were lots of fun!
In Trysil it was fine to ride my hardtail XC bike because it
was mostly flowy trails with smooth surface and fun burms.
There is more to explore in Trysil than the video shows and
the whole Gullia area can be appreciated by both good riders,
newbies and kids.
In Sälen on the other hand, it's more focus on the downhill part
with only a small area at the bottom of the lift that kids and newbies would appreciate.
I rented a proper DH bike and it was so much fun! If you have a trail bike with
longer travel it will work as well cause the trails are not that rough and technical.
One of my friends rode his YT Jeffsy 29 and had no problems at all.
Video of just Sälen riding can be found here:
A great trip that I definitely will do again soon!
Filmed with GoPro Hero 3 Silver and Huawei Honor 8.

Stockholm Museum Guide: Gold rooms, sunken warships, and devil books.
I cant really say I know another city that has so many top quality and interesting museums all in city limits (maybe Amsterdam), but here is our humble little guide to what we thought were the best museums Stockholm Sweden had to offer.
City Hall is worth checking out for sure, it's the place they hand out the Nobel peace prize which is cool, and the building itself is modeled after a 17th century Venetian palace. Inside however is the Gold Hall which is absolutely stunning with thousands of highly polished gold tiles making up giant playful frescos. (*side note, the VO says 1962 ... it's actually 1672. Makes more sense no?)
The Public Library is also worth a peak. Designed as a rotunda it was built so that every book is accessible without a ladder, a metaphor that knowledge should be reachable for anyone.
The Spel Museum is dedicated to the history of the video game and a ton of fun. Beyond fun history you can get your hands on these games and challenge your friend to death matches from multiple eras.
Museum Island is chock full of museums, our favorites are the Nordic Museum which shows you how Nordic culture has influenced the world through the centuries, and of course the Vasa museum where a 17th century perfectly preserved warship is housed in a giant building. It's amazing.
The Swedish Arms museum is a gas, with lots of amazing displays of warfare through the ages, and some of the most interesting dioramas we've ever seen.
Finally pop into the National Library and see if you can find the giant metal doors, that house in a high tech secure room the Codex Gigas, a book wrapped in flesh that apparently jails the devil within it's pages.
Also special thanks to @atlasobscura ... we use them all the time to find the absolute best a city has to offer.

Sweden: Lessons for America? - Full Video
It’s been suggested that Americans would be better off if the United States was more like Sweden. Do the Swedes know something that we don’t? Sweden: Lessons for America? A Personal Exploration by Johan Norberg delves into the economic and social landscape of the Swedish scholar’s homeland. Join him to see that the lessons to be learned from Sweden may not be the ones you expect.
The one-hour documentary follows Norberg on a journey through the history of Sweden’s economic rise, from one of the poorest countries in the world to one of the most prosperous. The program illuminates key ideas and enterprises that sparked the reform and continue to help Sweden maintain its lofty economic position, including freedom of the press, free trade, new technology companies, crazy jobs and even an old Swedish superhero.

Paternity leave in Sweden - Light on the North
Stine Jensen looks into the ideal of gender equality in Sweden. Parents receive maternity leave for one year and there are 'open creches' where parents can go all day with their child and ask their questions about parenting.
In this episode, Jensen examines the Swedish ideal of equality whether it is between men and women or between native and immigrant Swedes.
In Light on the North, Stine Jensen gauges one after the other the Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish and Danish souls.
'The good Scandinavian life is of course relative. As soon as you start to look at it from different eyes, the image topples.'
In four episodes, the philosopher Stine Jensen, who was born in Denmark but grew up in the Netherlands since her first year, is looking behind Scandinavia's clichés of emancipation, prosperity, natural beauty and space.

Spain Vlog Day 1 & meeting my girlfriend! // VLOG 02
I used to write down all my travel memories in a journal, but I've decided that visual memories are more memorable, and easier to share, so I've decided to try a Spain travel vlog. This is Day 1 of the Vlog!
Follow me as I travel to Spain to meet my girlfriend, before heading to Pamplona, Spain to get ready for the running of the bulls.
The first stop was at the No.1 Lounge at Gatwick airport in London. Next on the Spain Vlog, I was reunited with my girlfriend from Gothenburg, Sweden. We we're supposed to catch an overnight bus to Pamplona after landing in Madrid, but things don't always turn out as planned! Watch more of the Spain travel vlog to see how we finally got there!
Follow us live as we travel through Europe:

Northern Capitals + Russia Tour - Sweden Aug-Sept 2018
This video is the third country we have visited with Insight Vacations which the tour failed in so many ways delivering what they advertised for, that is travelling in style, false advertising. Our journey then continues through fertile farmlands, dotted with neat farmhouses and barns. Traveled along the shores of peaceful Lake Vättern to Stockholm, beautifully situated on an island studded bay. With a Local Expert, visit the imposing City Hall with its impressive Gyllene salen, the Golden Hall, covered with 18 million gilded mosaic tiles and the Blå hallen, the Blue Hall, is the venue for the Nobel Prize banquets. Cross the harbour to Gamla Stan, the medieval heart of the city to see the cathedral and the Royal Palace. We visited the Vasa Galleon and ABBA Museum. This also includes review Hilton Stockholm Slussen.

Don't skip El Salvador | SUNRISE SURF EL TUNCO BEACH
So many people have warned me to travel to El Salvador and I am SO HAPPY that I didn't listen to them. It's worth a visit and the little surf town El Tunco is so great - here you will eat pupusas (local yumminess), sleep, surf and repeat! You should definitely be aware of where you are traveling to and some warnings have to be taken seriously. Please do not risk anything and travel everywhere in the world safe and smart.
To all my Swedish followers, don't leave ???? I'll do this vlog series (Mexico to Costa Rica by bus) in English as it hopefully will inspire a lot of travellers in the world to do this trip and give them the input needed. This is not my last Swedish vlog, but I'd like to mix it up a bit ????
Videos are published every Wednesday at 7AM and Sunday at 4PM (CET) as long as wi-fi while traveling isn't giving up on me haha!
