The Dingle Way (Kerry Camino) / Wild Atlantic Way - IrelandWays.com - Unravel Travel TV
The Dingle Way (Kerry Camino) will charm you and make you fall in love with the West of Ireland, its culture, wild beauty and history. The town of Dingle, one of the main stops along The Dingle Way and The Wild Atlantic Way, was once named as ‘the most beautiful place on earth’ by National Geographic and Trip Advisor rated it among the top 100 destinations in the world. The town’s most famous resident is a bottle nose dolphin named Fungi who made Dingle harbour his home in 1983. The Dingle Way walking trail has a lovely mix of terrain from rural roads to coastal paths and low level mountain trails, accessible to all levels of fitness but, with a little tweaking (shortening the walking distance some days) it could be perfect for families also. From Tralee to Dingle, you will be following the trail known as the Kerry Camino, enjoying amazing views of the Ocean and Inch strand.
A great part of The Dingle Way is in a Gaeltacht area (Irish-Speaking region), making it the best place to discover authentic Irish culture, music and entertainment. The Dingle Peninsula is dominated by the range of mountains that form its spine, running from the Slieve Mish range to Mount Brandon, Ireland’s second highest peak. In addition to stunning landscapes, The Dingle Way is also dotted with important cultural and historic sights from Celtic Ogham stones to Fahan Beehive huts, ring forts and dolmens, standing stones, holy wells. Another place you shouldn’t miss is the village of Annascaul, birthplace of famous Antarctic explorer Tom Crean (1877-1938).

This beautiful mountain trail seems to go on forever as it plots through the Irish hills.
The incredible views were captured on drone by Dezso Toth as he and his family walked the sprawling Cuilcagh Legnabrocky Trail in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.
They had planned the walk for over two years and despite the difficult height, they say they’re already planning on going back.
Dezso said: “Weather conditions on Cuilcagh Mountain can be quick to change & inhospitable all year round making way finding difficult in poor visibility at any time of the year.

Stradbally Crew Isle of man adventure Part 1 The Groudle Glen Railway
Hi guys, this is part one of a four part series on a group of three Stradbally Volunteers to the Isle of Man in July 2016. In this video the Groudle Glen Railway features. The line itself is nestled deep within a national park, accessible via tram from Douglas or Laxey, as can be seen the park itself is beautiful.
Motive power comprised resident Bagnall 2-4-0T Sea Lion and visiting sister Polar Bear from Amberley. Was very interesting to see the new build Brown Bear being assembled in the engine sheds.
We all had a fantastic day, with special thanks to Richard and James for being so courteous and all the voluntary staff based there really made our day. We highly recommend anyone to visit the railway, check their website at

A giant squid has been landed by fishermen in West Kerry. This is only the 7th specimen to be landed in Ireland since records began 350 years ago. Four of those 7 squid caught have been brought in by members of the same Dingle family.

The Waves of Western Ireland
The Irish surfing scene remains one of the little known gems of the Emerald Isle. For decades this predominately Western sport has gained notoriety in the region. The rocky terrain, blistering winds, and chilling water temperatures make Ireland one of the most unique surfing scenes in the world.

Loamhole Dingle Nature Walk at Ironbridge - Part One
Continuing my exploration with Lee Proudfoot of Coalbrookdale and the early Iron masters at Ironbridge in Shropshire, today I take a delightful nature walk.
The circular trail takes you from Upper Furnace Pool through the beautiful woodland of Loamhole Dingle returning along the historic Ropewalk where industry once mixed with nature.
Loamhole Dingle is a wet, ancient semi-natural woodland consisting of mainly ash, alder, silver birch and hazel and a range of wild flowers

Windy Cliffs and Hidden Lagoons | Exploring Ireland’s Dingle Peninsula | Ireland Vlog
This was probably my favorite two days in Ireland. The Dingle Peninsula really is something incredible. There are so many incredible views packed into a small space. From Eask Tower to the Star Wars honeycombs, there’s plenty to see.
There were a lot of meditative moment along those two days. Hiking alone, especially in dangerous situations really makes you live in the moment. It’s also where I came up with my rule for taking photos and recording video. I had to spend the same amount of time taking in the view as I did capture content. It’s been such a fantastic rule to live by.
Finding that hidden lagoon was my favorite moment in Ireland. I’m sure other people have found it, but for me it felt like being an explorer. I was the only one there and I spent a long time just staring at that picturesque scene.
It was perfect.
