What to do in BUENOS AIRES. Best City in South America? Travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina ????????
What should you do in Buenos Aires, Argentina? Well we visit Buenos Aires for the first time and found some absolutely amazing things to do in the city!
We start things off in the Japanese Gardens (Jardín Japonés)! These gardens are quiet and idyllic and feel like an oasis in the middle of the city, they also happen to be the largest gardens of their type outside of Japan.
Next up was a very famous place in Buenos Aires and must-do while in the city- La Recoleta Cemetery. This is considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world and contains the graves of some of the most famous and notable people in Argentinian history.
After this we headed to another super notable place in Recoleta, a very famous bookstore called El Ateneo Grand Splendid. Just like the cemetery, it is considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world- mainly because it’s situated in a former opera house. You can still see where the stage (now a coffee shop), and opera boxes were.
Lastly we head back to the area we stayed in called Palermo Hollywood to grab some drinks and food. Buenos Aires is full of interesting and diverse restaurants, not just asado which you might expect- but also loads of international foods. We found a place called KOI Beer and Dumplings where we had both beer and delicious dumplings.

Buenos Aires is Argentina’s big, cosmopolitan capital city. Its center is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace. Other major attractions include Teatro Colón, a grand 1908 opera house with nearly 2,500 seats, and the modern MALBA museum, displaying Latin American art.

For the third episode of this travel blog, Lilian and I had an epic week visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was an amazing city, just a little colder than Brazil! We tried to pack as much as we could into our trip, seeing as much as we could and experiencing the culture as much as possible. We visited Puerto Madero, the famous El caminito, Casa Rosada, the famous Cafe Tortoni, went to a tango show, we ate alfajores and big juicy steaks, walked across the biggest avenue in the world(Avenida 9 de Julio), but most of all, we had a blast. Enjoy!

I crossed the Pacific Ocean on sailing boats as crew and visited The Unites States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, The Marquesas Islands, Tahiti, The Kingdom Of Niue, Rarotonga, Tonga, Fiji, some other small islands and ended up in New Zealand. In New Zealand I cycled 3.000km from the northernmost point to the southernmost point. After that I rode a motorbike from Vietnam to Laos and Cambodia. Recently I converted a Rusian 4x4 UAZ Buhanka oldtimer into a campervan and am driving around Central Asia with my puppy dog.

Traveling is embedded into our relationship as we met on a Spring Break cruise in 2016. Since then, we haven't stopped traveling together in the United States and abroad. We left New York in July 2019 to travel the world and we took work with us, including starting a travel vlog. We have made it our mission to slow travel for 16 months throughout South America and Asia and to create travel videos along the way.

OUR ARGENTINA TRIP STARTS NOW! | Visiting Buenos Aires for 3 Days
Our Argentina trip starts now! The biggest travel and food series we've ever created is kicking off in this travel blog by visiting Buenos Aires for 3 days. Firstly, we highlight our flight from Toronto to Buenos Aires in the dead of winter in Canada arriving in Argentina in mid-summer - a 70 degree weather change!
Our first order of business in Buenos Aires is to grab great local food in Recoleta so we head over to one of favorite restaurants in the city Bodegon Norte to grab a meal consisting of Milanesa, salad, ravioli pasta with a bottle of Argentine wine. We then grab Argentine ice cream (helado) at Rapa Nui including dulce de leche flavour.
We start off day two with breakfast in Buenos Aires at La Biela having cafe con leche with media luna. Afterwards we check out the nicest bookstore in the city, and one of the most beautiful in the world, El Ateneo before grabbing pizza slices at Banchero. We finish the day off visiting Recoleta cemetery one of the most famous attractions in Buenos Aires.
For our last day in Buenos Aires we start off with facturas and coffee for breakfast before heading to Puerto Madero for a stroll and a ship museum. For lunch we have delicious Argentine parrilla (grilled beef) with Malbec wine.
Overall, this was our 3 days itinerary in Buenos Aires. We'll be back again soon!

OUR ARGENTINA TRIP STARTS NOW! | Visiting Buenos Aires for 3 Days:
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey's parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine.
From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut.
While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival.
We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey's dad again.
To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

From one of the worlds’ most impressive waterfalls in Amazon rain forest, the bustling capital of Buenos Aires to the glaciers to the stunning Andes mountains scapes of Patagonia and Fire-land, the most southern land before reaching the arctic, Argentina covers an extreme large spectrum of experiences throughout multiple climates, for the outdoor lover as well as the cultural explorer.
We’re in bustling Buenos Aires. We dive into the original culture, like the Matadeiros market. In this episode we’re exploring various neighbourhoods like San Telmo to find suggestive arts and crafts that hide in shops, markets, museums and even restaurants. We go into underground dwelling to discover more of about Argentina's history, enjoy market. We visit the Barolo Palace that is an architectural highlight. We end the journey enjoying an original tango show.

Buenos Aires is Argentina’s big, cosmopolitan capital city. Its center is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace. Other major attractions include Teatro Colón, a grand 1908 opera house with nearly 2,500 seats, and the modern MALBA museum, displaying Latin American art.

Exploring RECOLETTA Buenos Aires - Argentina
Our second day in Buenos Aires, Argentina consisted of a walking tour. Guided by myself with a helping hand from our dear friend Google.
We set out from our hostel in Palermo to check out the sights of Recoleta. The two main objectives were Recoleta Cemetery and the worlds most beautiful book store, El Alteneo.
Two destinations I would highly recommend visiting in Buenos Aires Argentina.
