Nepal Travel Guide (नेपाली यात्रा गाइड) | Our Trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Join us for our Nepal Travel Guide (नेपाली यात्रा गाइड) as we cover things to do, top attractions and local foods worth experiencing in both Kathmandu and Pokhara. Our journey starts in Kathmandu where we spent several days exploring the city and all it has to offer including visiting temples and markets. We then hopped on a bus bound for Pokhara where we went down serpentine roads. Our time in Pokhara was much more relaxing than in Kathmandu where we spent our days by the lake, hiking and sipping on tea while admiring the incredible mountain ranges. Our trip to Nepal was brief but memorable. We hope this travel guide to Nepal gives you a good idea of what you can do in both Kathmandu and Pokhara. We realize many travelers who come to Nepal do so for epic hiking adventures. Unfortunately we didn't have time for this nor did we cover it in this guide. If you're thinking of coming to Nepal we highly recommend it as locals are some of the friendliest people we've ever met. We'd come back again to Nepal (नेपाल) in a heartbeat.

Swift River (Above Gauge) and EBP 6500CFS Kayaking
Insane time last Saturday paddling the Swift River above the highest gauge marking and the EBP at 6500-7000cfs! Much higher then I have ever run them before but was a blast! Can't wait for this weekend with more rain!!
Flood stage rivers are extremely dangerous to paddle, and extreme precautions must be taken when paddling rivers like this. Any swim can easily result in loss of all gear and potentially flush drowning. A bomber roll in big water as well as extensive and practiced safety is needed. This day we had multiple people tracking us down the river and prepared (in drysuits and full gear) to help in rescue if needed. Big water is dangerous, but also is my personal favorite style of kayaking when done right with a solid group.
Ten Months in Nepal: People, Mountains, Rivers, and Fish
Gillette spent the 2015-2016 academic year on sabbatical studying fish diversity in the Himalayan nation of Nepal, including an examination of potential effects of climate change. In this presentation, he discusses his experiences, including background, stories, pictures and data. The presentation is part research seminar, and part travelogue.
Who Knows Where in Nepal

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.
