ADVENTURE OVERLOAD - Exuma, The Bahamas Day 03
Travel Vlog three from Exuma was filled to the brim with adventure! It started with an AMAZING sunrise that seemed to hint at the glory to come!
We spent the day on Robert's Island Adventures (none of this is paid) and they are THE boat to book and see all the sights of Exuma!
They kept us ahead of the crowds and we seemed to be the only group at the attractions when we arrived.
It's bit of a boat ride to get to the center of the action but once you're out there each stop is fairly close.
We started with Iguana Beach on Allen Cay. Remember these are wild animals but they are very chill and as long as you move slow and keep fingers away from their face they will leave you alone.
Stop number 2 was the famous big beach! This still blows my mind a barn yard on the beach?! From the biggest mama to the littlest pig there will be pigs on this beach for years to come!
Next on the list was Thunderball Grotto nothing short of magical views this place will take your breath away. You do not have to dive under to get in but the current does move quickly so time is limited here. And the boat crew will check the water before entering to make it is not to strong to enter so no worries there!
For lunch we stopped at a local favorite Lorraine's Cafe. With big patios and buffet style BBQ this is the best way to take care of big groups! The food was amazing but the service was even better Lorraine herself came by each table to thank us for dining with her before we left.
After lunch we only had 1 stop left the Sand Bar! There was only on other boat when we arrived and they left soon after! With literally nothing around I took full advantage and got the little Spark in the air asap! The sands where peaceful and the views where mind blowing.
And... Do not forget this was New Years Eve Day so we kept the pedal to the metal all the way to midnight! We are starting 2018 off in a big way with a fun filled evening with good friends, strong island drinks, and a Bahamian parade.
This was one hell of day and all I can say is Thank you Exuma!
