Test of Husban X4 @Stensparken, Oslo, Norway

Taking Hubsan X4 107C for a spin in Stensparken, Oslo, near Fagerborg church. I try to fly up against a ratger strong headwind to visit some seagulls on the top of the church roof. The wind is stronger over the top of the roof, so it throws the Husban backwards.

I've lost a couple of Husban drones, so try not to cross the limits set by the Husban and my skills. But I still got into problems when I wanted to land the drone at the end of this test. The Hubsan X4 weighs about 55 grams with everyting, and the propeller-guard give the wind quite a good grip on it. With the controller in novice mode, you don't get the most powerful responses, for the sake of stability. Flying in expert mode should make it a more responsive and give it an better edge against the wind, but it will also be more difficult to handle. But you should always use expert mode in windy conditions, because it makes a sinking feeling to see the drone start to drift away in the wind.

The structure is designed so that it blends in with the surroundings, some parts are carved into the rock, while other parts are built on stone walls.

The new Community Church in Knarvik, located on the scenic west-coast of Norway north of Bergen, is built on a privileged site overlooking the cultural landscape and local town centre. The building is carefully adapted to an existing hillside between built and natural environment, providing the church with an inspiring context of the surrounding heath landscape. Its distinctive and innovative character and central location makes it a landmark in the community, to be inviting and inclusive for all people to cultivate their faith throughout the week.

Orgelkonserter i St. Olav domkirke

St. Olav domkirkemenighet i Oslo inviterer jevnlig til orgelkonserter. Konsertene fremføres både av domorganist Otto Christian Odland og av domkantor Vegar Sandholt.

Det er gratis entré, men det tas opp kollekt til et fond som skal brukes til anskaffelse av et nytt kirkeorgel. Gi ditt bidrag til konto 1720.26.96503, merk giroen Orgel!

I forbindelse med konserten 24. juni 2015 snakket vi med Otto Christian Odland om konsertserien, om nåværende orgel og om dagens konsertprogram, som besto av følgende verker:

Preludium & fuge i e-moll (BWV 548), Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)

Andante i F-dur (K616) Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)

Finale fra symfoni no. 6, Charles-Marie Widor (1844-1937)

Neste konsert kommer onsdag 1. juli kl 11:30 (etter messen). Da fremfører Odland hele Widors sjette symfoni. Vel møtt!

Kortados julekonsert 2013 - del 2 av 2

Kortado er et blandet kor for unge voksne. Vi har omlag 60 medlemmer av begge kjønn, i alderen 20-40 år. Siden oppstarten høsten 2008 har koret avholdt en rekke konserter. Dette opptaket er fra Kortados julekonsert 1.desember 2013 i Tonsen Kirke.

#17 Abomination (spleen wound) INRI Crucifix at Lutheran Cathedral Oslo Domkirke

Oslo Cathedral altar - Why is Jesus bleeding from his spleen? INRI Crucifix - blasphemous depiction of Jesus with spleen wound - Martin Luder Oslo Domkirke (Church): Oslo Cathedral - Lutheran cathedral completed in 1697. This is Olso's Second oldest Church dating from 1697 and contains elaborate stained glass from Emanual Vigeland ( the famous Gustav's brother). The cathedral has been consecrated in 1697. You can see there the Emanuel Vigeland's stained glass window and the nice altar showing The Last Supper. The altar shovel of the Domkirke was made by Michael Rasch in the 1748. It rappresents the Last Dinner and the Crucifixion. In the years ago it was moved into different Norwegian's churches but in 1950 it comes back to Oslo. The nice organ was made in the 17th century.


Oslo domkirke, tidligere Vår Frelsers kirke, er en korskirke som ligger ved Stortorvet i Oslo sentrum. Den stod ferdig i 1697.
Altertavlen er delt i tre; nederst er nattverden, i midten Kristus på korset med Maria og Johannes og øverst den seirende Kristus. Kirsten Toller, en rik enke bosatt i byen ga 500 riksdaler til utføringen av altertavlen og den ble utstyrt med hennes families våpenskjold.[5]

Altertavlen er i bjørk og furu og laget i 1693 i treskjærerverkstedet til Christopher Henrichssøn Ridder, som også har laget altertavlen i Oslo domkirke.
