Fairview Lookout - Lake Louise
What is up guys! This is Vlog #010 already! Check this (quick) one out as we go and explore some of the beauty scenery in the Lake Louise area. We decided to be tourists and follow an easy trail up to a lookout. The lookout wasnt quite as nice as we were hoping so we went beyond the beaten trail (passing a you shouldnt hike past me sign), which resulted in us scaling a cliff to get an even nicer lookout of the Chateau at Lake Louise! If you are in the area I definately recommend doing this easy hike (Fairview Lookout), If you are comfortable, I would also suggest exploring what is beyond this lookout!

Way Up - Plain of Six Glaciers Hike - Lake Louise - Banff National Park - Alberta - Canada
Vraiment impressionnant.

Let's Hike: Mt Temple
Let's hike to the top of Mt. Temple, 9th highest peak in the Canadian rockies! Mt. Temple can be found towering over Moraine Lake in Bow Valley of Banff National Park, Alberta. On this particular day, weather was a factor with chances of thunderstorms and heavy rain possible in the afternoon. We left early to try to beat the weather but were caught in rain showers on the way to Sentinel Pass. Since there was no apparent lightning in the area, we pressed on and kept a wary eye on the horizon. However, as the day moved along the weather got nicer. The summit was obscured by clouds and fog, but the trip back down to the pass was in the sunshine with just a few passing showers.
Amazing trip with some amazing friends!

Mt. Fairview -- Lake Louise -- Amazing Views
We did Mt. Fairview and Saddle Mountain at Lake Louise on August 13th. This is just a steep hike with roughly 1000m elevation gain (9000' high) to the top of Fairview.
Saddleback Pass is about 1 hour 15 minutes to reach. It took us 2 hours to summit. Once back down at Saddleback Pass we headed up Saddle Mountain which only took roughly 15 minutes from the pass. Great Views even with a little bit of smoke from the B.C. forest fires.
This is a great hike if you want to expend minimal effort for amazing surrounding views of some very Big Peaks and of course the Victoria Glacier. Great views of Big Beehive, Niblock, Whyte, Temple, and many others.
