Fairy Bridge in Bundoran, Ireland
Just off the Tullan Strand in Bundoran, Ireland is a small magical place. They local it to Fairy Bridge. Fairies are believed to live there and pose problems to anyone who doesn't show them proper respect. After a twisting my ankle and neatly stumbling to my death, I whispered a few words of thanks and appreciation for the fae before I made this video.
Just a few feet up from there is the Wishing Chair.
Welcome to the Fairy Bridges & Wishing Chair on the Wild Atlantic Way
The Fairy Bridges and Wishing Chair hold a special place in the hearts of the people of Bundoran and we'd love you to see them too! Just a short walk from the centre of town and right on the Wild Atlantic Way! For more see our website discoverbundoran.com/fairy-bridges/

Wild Atlantic Way Pt.2 | Next Stop Everywhere
Surfers, sunrises and scenery
Our Wild Atlantic Way journey continues!
For those who don't know, the Wild Atlantic Way is an epic road trip that runs from the Irish/NI border just north of Derry, all the way to Kinsale in County Cork - 2,500km of amazing scenery, wild landscapes, rugged roads and fascinating places. When we decided to full-time motorhome, it was number 1 on our list. And we weren't disappointed.
This time, we're leaving the lovely Creevy Pier and heading to Ireland's 'surf capital' Bundoran, where we are wow-ed by the surfing talent, and enchanted by the fairy bridges... oh and make a wish in the famous 'Wishing Chair' too. Onwards to the amazing Megalithic Carrowmore for a history lesson or two, then the stunning views off Downpatrick Head, and finally the utterly beautiful Achill Island, the most westerly point on our road trip!
Join us on Part 2 of this incredible experience, savour the scenery, admire the blue skies and dodge the rain showers, be inspired to plan your very own Wild Atlantic Way adventure!
Enjoy, and join us for our Next Stop... Everywhere!

The opening ceili of the 2018 Gathering Trad Festival was held at the Sliabh Luachra Heritage Centre in Scartaglen, Co Kerry. Apologies for the erratic video focus, which mostly clears up for the last of these sets.
Interview with Tommy Fingers gallagher in Ballyshannon april 2013
A short interview on a particular windy day in April 2013, at the Ballyshannon Bridge, in Co. Donegal, with a well known and colourful character of ballyshannon. Tommy Fingers Gallagher is one of the famous people in the town and he brings absolute joy and laughter to the people of ballyshannon in his informative stories, peoms and jokes he shares whereever and who ever he meets.
h tommy holds the piece in his natural and heartfelt account of growing up in the town, emigrating and living in a town that he loves, so well.
