Falls Park and Big Sioux River - VIDEO TOUR (Sioux Falls, South Dakota)
Admittedly we only stopped here because it's mention in the TV series Supernatural numerous times! lol... Needless to say, we didn't find any demons or spirits, but we did find a cool park with a waterfall! We also walked into a casino (Kinda like a small bar with a couple of machines)... We got the stare of doom from the locals, so we kinda just walked straight back out! LOL

SIOUX FALLS: FALLS PARK
Falls Park in Sioux Falls South Dakota is a popular attraction for Art Displays and concerts as well as a place of beauty and relaxation.
This natural beauty on the Big Sioux River gave the city of Sioux Falls its name and, like a lot of places in South Dakota, it has a long history. Visitors enjoy the scenic beauty, as well as the remnants of some of Sioux Falls earliest buildings.
In pioneer days the falls were tapped for water power to run the Queen Bee Mill, built in 1887. The foundation of the mill is still visible, as well as a hydroelectric plant built in 1908. These structures offer a glimpse into the areas history, while the Falls Park Visitor Information Center, featuring a five-story observation tower and elevator, provides information on Falls Park and other Sioux Falls attractions.

Falls Park in Sioux Falls, SD
On February 17, 2013, water rushes over the falls of the Big Sioux River in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Since it's difficult to hear over the surge of the water, the audio script is: There's water going over the falls. If you want to take a dip to cool off, this is the place to do it! Look at that icy water. B-rrr! Here's to an early spring?! ;o)

Remember the Falls Park is inside the controlled airspace of the Sioux Falls airport and is directly in line with a major runway. Contact the tower before any flights.
