Family Fun Center - Arcade Fun
Arcade Fun Time! We went by an arcade that we have never been to, The Family Fun Center. We won a bunch of tickets but then our camera died. We managed to win a ball from a claw machine before that happened though. We will be going back to this arcade sometime soon.

Cross Country Road Trip 2016
This summer was kicked off with a cross country road trip! We went from Los Angeles, California to Orlando, Florida. We made a few stops along the way. We stopped in Tucson, Arizona where we saw thousands of bats wake up and fly off together to go for their night hunt before getting some classic Cracker Barrel. Then we went to San Antonio, Texas which was so cool and never somewhere that crossed my mind as somewhere I'd want to visit. There, we went to the Alamo and the Riverwalk (The Riverwalk was so cool I wish I could spend a whole day there). After we headed to New Orleans! Seriously, New Orleans was amazing. We were only there for a few hours but I fell in LOVE and want to go back so bad. We had beignets and pralines and I am craving more. Our next stop was Panama City, Florida and we arrived just at sunset, it was beautiful. Probably one of the prettiest beaches I have ever been to. Another place I need to revisit! Lastly we arrived in Lakeland, Florida where we stayed the night before going to Disney's Animal Kingdom! Such an awesome trip, can't wait to go back to these places.

11 Cheapest Places in Florida to Buy a Home.
The Sunshine State is one of the most desirable places in the nation to live. What’s not love? Warm sun, miles of sandy coastline, palm trees, historic sites, and top-notch culinary options. With all these benefits, it’s no wonder many people believe that owning property here will set them back a pretty penny. This is one of the biggest misconceptions about Florida. While places like Naples and Miami Beach are known for their expensive real estate, there are plenty of places in this state that are more than affordable. Here’s what we found to be the eleven cheapest places in Florida to buy a home.
1. Deerfield Beach
2. Titusville
3. Cape Coral
4. Palm Coast
5. Dunedin
6. Palm Bay
7. Kissimmee

Do you need to lose a few extra pounds? You do not have to live being overweight, though it is very common these days. Getting long-lasting results from your weight loss efforts can be easy when you are using the right tips and techniques. Weight loss is not daunting or miserable if you personalize your approach with the following tips.
Drinking coffee is a surprising way to lose weight. Many people enjoy coffee. If you need a little extra boost of energy before a work out, consider drinking a cup to get you in the mood.
Don't keep junk food in your home. If you don't have a freshly baked cake sitting on your kitchen counter, you won't be faced with constant temptation. Rather, keep your home stocked with grab-and-go healthy alternatives. Vegetables and fruits are optimal to keep in your fridge as they will fill you up with essential nutrients.
If you love mashed potatoes, you might try substituting mashed cauliflower, instead. Steam cauliflower and chopped onions until they are quite tender. Then while they are still hot, puree the mixture with chicken or vegetable stock and add a dash of pepper to taste. This makes a filling side dish that is low in overall calories and carbs and provides a lot of nutrition. The cole family of vegetables, from which cauliflower comes, provides numerous vitamins and antioxidants.
If you are served a plate of food with large portions, only eat the amount of food that constitutes a single portion. From a young age, children are encouraged to eat everything on their plate, and this can lead to a problem with weight gain in later years. There is nothing wrong with taking leftovers back home. Just because you still have food on your plate does not mean you should eat every last bit of it. Concentrate on every bite and once you are full, stop eating.
When you exercise, if your primary goal is to lose weight, then you should put more emphasis on cardiovascular exercises than weight training. Even though weight training is important for healthy muscle development, cardio exercise is what burns the fat off your body. If you are looking to lose weight, you should focus on getting your heart pumping instead of toning muscle.
Stock your kitchen with healthy foods. You should have a good sized plastic container that has a lid. Purchase fresh vegetables, like celery and carrots. Prepare the vegetables, fill the bottom of the container with ice and a small amount of water and store the vegetables in the refrigerator. By preparing ahead of time, you will never be at a loss for an easy portable snack.
To help in your fight against the bulge, get an exercise buddy. It will make exercise more fun for you because you have the opportunity to socialize while doing it. Your exercise buddy will encourage you. This will help you look forward to your exercising sessions, which will be helpful in losing weight.
Do not skip meals to lose weight. Skipping meals doesn't make you lose weight, it causes your body to store extra fat. While you may not be feeling the hunger pangs, do try to eat a healthy meal at least three times each day.
As your weight loss continues, go through your closet and donate clothes that are now too large for you to Goodwill. It is a great way to reflect on your weight-loss success, and it builds your confidence for the road ahead. It also gives you further motivation to maintain the size you currently are.
There is no magic pill for weight loss. You have to change what you are doing physically and tweak what you are putting into your body. If you will follow our tips, you will find success at effectively losing the weight that you want to lose and keeping it off.

Pluses:
The first stay was not as great but this stay was close to perfect.
Lots of fun amenities. Opportunity to get discounted Disney tickets (less than half the price).
Pools were very nice, but they wanted you to buy everything at their Restaurant / Bars. It would be VERY costly for a Family of 6 to do that for 10 days. I think small coolers should be allowed. Numerous Gas Grills are Fantastic and kept VERY clean!
Minuses:
Pool is not heated like they advertise. Entertainment staff is not always friendly. The girl by the pool was very harsh when yelling at everyone to get out of the pool for a storm that was coming.
Small and crowded breakfast area. Presentation for Disney tickets ran way longer than the 90 minutes. It ended up being 3 hours.
CPS ordered to pay family more than $100K
Child Protective Services took their children, and now CPS is being ordered to pay the family more than $100,000.

USTA Family Of The Year - The Walz Family
The USTA honored the Walz Family parents Joe and Cindy, sons Carl (deceased) and Andrew (with wife Heidi), and daughter Emily with the 2009 Ralph W. Westcott USTA Family of the Year Award.
The Walz Family was recognized during the USTA Annual Meeting, on March 22, in Dallas, and received an individually engraved replica silver tray honoring the familys dedication to the sport of tennis. The familys surname will be added to the original tray that is located at the USTA National Office in White Plains, N.Y., and at the US Open Gallery at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center during the US Open.
The Ralph W. Westcott USTA Family of the Year Award was created in 1965 by the USTA in honor of the late Ralph W. Westcott to emphasize the theme that Tennis is a Family Game. The award is given annually to the family who in recent years has done the most to promote amateur tennis, primarily on a volunteer basis. All members of the family should participate in some way, either as players or by offering their services in running programs or tournaments or in junior development activities.
The Walz family has dedicated itself to growing tennis through its work in the Aitkin, Minn., community, and an enduring commitment to charity. Joe started the Aitkin High School boys varsity tennis team in 1998, on which both of his sons played. He and Cindy also founded the Aitkin Community Tennis Association in 2001 and implemented an adult tennis league and youth programming; the CTA now includes the QuickStart Tennis play format in its programming.
Andrew, who played for Aitkin High School, and wife Heidi have raised more than $24,000 for a primary school in Naro Maro, Kenya, and donate tennis equipment and teach tennis each time they visit the school. Emily also played for Aitkin High School and currently attends the University of Minnesota. In her spare time, she serves as a counselor for the Gustavus Adolphus Tennis & Life Camps, and has also helped teach tennis at the school in Kenya with her brother.
Youngest son Carl was tragically killed in a car accident two days after finishing in third place at the 1999 USTA Northern Section championships. In his honor, the Walz family built a new hitting wall and spectator area at the Aitkin Tennis Center, and established summer tennis camp scholarships for local children. Over the last decade, more than 50 children have benefitted from these summer camp scholarships.
This family epitomizes what the USTA Family of the Year Award is all about, and truly demonstrates what one family can do using tennis to make the world a better place, said Kurt Kamperman, Chief Executive, Community Tennis, USTA. The Walzes have poured their hearts and souls into the game and their passion for tennis reaches beyond all borders without seeking anything in return.

What we did in Gainesville Florida, with kids, for a whole day.
We went on a mini road trip with our kids, from Orlando to Gainesville. There are quite a few things to see in and around Gainesville, but we’ve settled on four places to visit:
1) Devil’s Millhopper State Park
2) Florida Natural Museum
3) Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park and
4) The Ecopassage Observation Boardwalk (part of the state park but no fee is required)
We’ve managed to visit all the places we have planned to see, and we truly enjoyed the Florida specific landscapes, sights and sounds. All in all, the trip was excellent and I would probably repeat it in a year, maybe. Gainesville is a lovely city and offers a lot of areas for outdoor activities, but I would not go out of my way, from Orlando, to visit too often.
Here are some tips & useful info:
Devil’s Millhoper State Park
The main attraction, the mini rainforest experience (the boardwalk that leads into the sinkhole) is currently closed. If you can, plan your visit after October 2018, when the park management plans to reopen the boardwalk.
Florida Natural Museum
The entrance fee to the museum is free. They do charge for the Butterfly Rainforest & the Bat exhibits - if you are a Florida resident you get a discount for both.
Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park
This was well worth the visit and one could spend a whole day in the park. We did only a few things because it was close to the end of our day in Gainesville, but it’s a fantastic place to visit with kids. The entrance fee was $6 per vehicle.
The Ecopassage Observation Boardwalk
We’ve missed this on our way to Gainesville coming from Orlando, but after our stop at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, we saw it on the map, asked around and then we drove back towards Gainesville. You will not find this (yet) on google maps - here’s how to get to this point:
From Orlando (or from Paynes State Park), take the US-441 North, towards Gainesville. There is a sign for Paynes Prairie Bolen Bluff - reduce your speed, and you will see another sign for the Ecopassage Boardwalk. Parking space is limited, but we found no issue finding parking as not too many people stop by.
