Our South Pacific trip continues in an over the water bungalow at Pearl Beach Resort Bora Bora. We went diving, took a water taxi over to Vaitape and then a second water taxi to the Bora Bora Lagoonarium, where we swam with sharks and stingrays and fed them. The whole family took a catamaran sailing around the island in some great breezes and on a picture perfect day, snorkeled, caught hermit crabs, played in the rain, built sand castles, and saw a Polynesian fire show. Noah (age 6) and Nicholas (age 2) traveled with James and Lauren to Pearl Beach Resort, Bora Bora, one of the island's most beautiful resorts. (Full Length / Unedited / Live Sound).

We left Fairhope with our two kids, flew out of New Orleans to LAX, and then boarded Air Tahiti Nui for the overnight flight to Tahiti. We then changed planes in Papeete (international airport) for the 'island hopper' flight over to Bora Bora. Upon arrival in Bora Bora, the airstrip and terminal is on its own island (motu) and the only way off the airport island is by boat. We then checked into Pearl Beach Resort Bora Bora, into an over the water bungalow / hut. We then took out the resort's flower covered catamaran into the emerald green lagoon, checked out the shallow reefs around the island, snorkeled, and got settled in.
