Nanputuo Temple is a famous Buddhist temple in the coastal area of South-east China,located on Xiamen Island at the foot of the Wulaofeng-Five Old Men-chain of hills,close to the sed and next to Xiamen University.The backdrop of beautiful hills with their mysterious grottoes and their cover of green trees,and the deep blue sea with its sparkling waves in the azure of the sky,provides a delightful environment. Nanputuo Temple was founded in the Tang dynasty. It embodies the long history and culture of South-east China,and is famous as a Temple of a thousand years.

Musical Fountain & Light Show at Bailuzhou Park, Xiamen
Bailuzhou Park is the largest full open Square Park in Xiamen. There is a Goddess Sculpture located in the park. It serves as a symbol of the Island and also the quality of urban sculpture in Xiamen. The park hosts Musical Fountain & Light Shows serving as a popular attraction for both locals and tourists.

廈門老院子民俗文化風情園景區位於美麗的國際花園城市——中國廈門，是華夏文旅集團斥資28億元傾力打造的一部文化旅遊巨作，景區包括老院子民俗文化風情園及神游華夏大劇院兩部分，已被列為廈門市重大項目和福建省文化產業十大重點項目，已於2015年正式對外開放 。老院子景區規劃建設兩大模組，包括一場：“神游華夏”室內演藝劇場，即神游華夏大劇院。全天候表演360度大型室內山水實景演藝《閩南傳奇》，在現代高新科技造就的震撼場面中上演閩南獨特的歷史文化經典。該演出申請了使用發明專利和實用新型專利20多個，保證了演藝的不可複製性；一園：老院子民俗風情園，規劃設計建設媽祖文化園、民俗文化村及中華姓氏文化園等，在建築風格及佈局樣式上注重體現廈門當地的文化符號，著力將其打造成具有濃郁地方文化特色的休憩園區。老院子民俗文化風情園通過閩南漁家百姓尋常的生活場景，講述下南洋幾代人的生活、創業經歷，集觀賞性、體驗性、文化性於一體，從多角度展示閩南當地的漁村文化、民俗文化、媽祖文化、南洋文化以及尋根溯源的始祖文化。園區在建築風格及佈局樣式上注重體現閩南當地的文化符號，集休閒娛樂、餐飲、購物於一體，著力打造成具有濃郁地方文化特色的休憩園區。走進漁村老院子，尋跡閩南特色民俗文化脈絡。漁村文化區:夕陽西下灑落在院子前的大榕樹下，光影稀疏跳躍不止，遠處海平線上一艘艘漁船滿載而歸。 “絲綢之路三千里，華夏文明八千年。自漢朝以來絲綢之路上各國頻繁往來，民族文化豐富。閩南地區東臨大海，是古代海上絲綢之路起點，閩南人很早就開始發展商貿，進行海外貿易，通過絲綢之路走向世界。廈門老院子民俗文化風情園立足海上絲綢之路地點，生動刻畫了百年前閩南漁家百姓尋常的生活場景，用故事將各個場景串聯起來，從多個角度展示閩南地區的特色民俗文化和南洋文化，詮釋海上絲綢之路顯露的歲月滄桑以及留下的厚重人文歷史。惠安女是福建泉州惠安縣惠東半島海邊的一個特殊的民間風情，她們以奇特的服飾，勤勞的精神聞名海內外。惠安女，從狹義上來說其實是惠東女，主要分佈在福建惠安東部崇武、山霞、淨峰和小岞四個鎮，是地地道道的漢族。她們的服飾，也深深地影響著周邊的鄉鎮，如東嶺、東橋和輞川等。據當地人說，幾百年前，她們由中原移居於此，因海邊生活為防風而佩帶花色頭巾和橙黃色的斗笠，花巾上還有編織的小花和五顏六色的小巧飾物；上身穿著緊窄短小的衣服，露出肚臍；下身穿著特別寬鬆肥大的褲子，腰帶是紮在肚臍下麵。 惠安女穿著具有古老傳統的服飾：頭披鮮豔的小朵花巾，捂住雙頰下頜，上身穿斜襟衫，又短又狹，露出肚臍，下穿黑褲，又寬又大，這種服飾獨具一格，尤引人注目，具有很強的色彩感染力，被視為“中國服飾精華的一部分”。 媽祖文化區:閩南沿海鄉人多往海洋發展，但海洋生涯風險較大，故多數拜仰神明來保佑，尤其航海人依靠“媽祖”導航，寬慰旅懷，祈求平安。媽祖是海峽兩岸人民虔誠信奉的海神，閩台一體，信眾之多，有如過江之鯽，故有“有海水處有華人，華人到處有媽祖”的真實寫照。廈門老院子民俗文化風情園建有世界獨一無二的“三面媽祖”水中顯聖的大型動態音樂景觀，已獲國家多項發明專利，媽祖神像高32.3米，表演時加以新穎奇特的燈光、音樂、舞美及移動平臺的巧妙結合，將吸引海內外眾多的媽祖信眾來此頂禮膜拜。

E-Mall is a high end shopping complex located in between the 64-floor, sail-like Twin Towers, is also known as Xiamen Shimao Cross-strait Plaza Towers.
The mall lies west of Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University, north of Yanwu Bridge, east of Gulangyu Island and south of Xiamen Botanical Garden.
