Fatima - Portugal HD
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima (better known as the Sanctuary of Fatima), located in Cova da Iria, Fátima, Portugal, is one of the most important Marian shrines in the world.
In 1917, the year of the Soviet revolution, Jacinta Marto, Francisco Marto and Lúcia dos Santos, known as the three little shepherds, said they had witnessed six apparitions of Our Lady on May 13, .
In the essential part of the message, the apparition would have asked that the rosary be prayed every day, conversion, and penance.
In one of these apparitions, he asked to build a chapel in that place, which is currently the central part of the Sanctuary where an image of Our Lady of Fatima is displayed.
Over the years, the Sanctuary has been expanded, with two basilicas already existing, thus increasing the capacity of welcoming pilgrims in a covered area.
The Sanctuary of Fátima consists mainly of the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Rosary Hall / terrace, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and colonnades, retreat house of Nossa Senhora do Carmo and Rectory, retreat house of Our Lady of Sorrows and hostel For the sick, Pius XII and Paul VI Pastoral Center, as well as the vast Basilica of the Holy Trinity, inaugurated on 13th October 2007. The Lausperene Chapel ('Laus Perene' stands for Permanent Praise) (where it is permanently exposed The Most Holy Body of Christ in the Consecrated Host) and the Chapel of Reconciliation, dedicated to the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession).

Miracle Of Our Lady Of Fatima Portugal 1917
A clip from the 1952 movie Miracle Of Our Lady Of Fatima as the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared for the first time to the three seers Francisco, Jacinta & Lucia at the Cova Da Iria, Fatima, Portugal in May 13, 1917. The Miracle of the Sun (in which the sun danced violently) was witnessed by almost 70,000 people when the Blessed Mother appeared the last time and revealed The Third Secret to the three children in Oct. 13, 1917. Sadly, the last of the three seers Sister Lucy (the eldest of the three) died in February 13, 2005 unable to reveal the true & complete contents of the Third Secret Of Fatima. Please Pray the Rosary Everyday for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and wear the Brown Scapular for the conversion of sinners, for the poor souls in purgatory and for lasting world peace. Never abandon the Catholic Faith, your Parish, the Pope, Vatican and most of all Jesus and Mama Mary for many will distort the faith. Attacks will come left and right. But NOTHING can defeat anyone who prays THE ROSARY. In the end, MY IMMACULATE HEART WILL TRIUMPH!- Our Lady Of Fatima. For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not believe, no explanation is possible... THE THIRD SECRET OF FATIMA IS WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW

The Miracle Of Our Lady Of Fatima (1952)
Directed By John Brahm ⋅ 1952 ⋅ 102 min
This much-loved movie thoughtfully recreates the 1917 events that brought hope and new religious fervor to war-ravaged world. Three peasant youths see a vision: a woman in a cloud of light offering words of faith and prophecy. They face skepticism and torture — but are soon embraced by faithful masses drawn by the promise of a miracle. Director John Brahm skillfully balances simplicity and spectacle, all powerfully supported by Max Steiner’s soaring score.
Starring Gilbert Roland, Sherry Jackson

Fatima Portugal 1917
On October 13, 1917 a crowd believed to be approximately 70,000 in number, gathered at the Cova da Iria fields near Fátima, Portugal. According to many witness statements, after a downfall of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disk in the sky. Many skeptics believe that the event was natural and meteorological in nature. But, how does one explain that the event occurred at the exact time predicted by three young children ?
What Did 100,000 People See In The Sky Above Fátima Portugal In 1917?
What did 100,000 people see in the sky above Fátima Portugal in 1917. We take a look at the Fátima Portugal incident, when thousands of people witnessed something mysterious in the sky.
The story of a famous miracle in Fátima, Portugal, began in May 1917, when three children ages 7, 9, and 10 claimed to have encountered the Virgin Mary on their way home from tending a flock of sheep. The oldest girl was the only one to speak to her, and Mary told the children that she would reappear to them on the thirteenth day of the next six months. She then vanished.
As everyone gazed upward, they saw that a silvery disc had emerged from behind clouds, they experienced what is known as a 'sun miracle'. Soon after rays of light began hitting the onlookers.

Fátima, a journey to the altar of the world
Fatima the altar of the world

The place where the Sanctuary of Fátima, Cova da Iria, stands until 1917 is an unknown place in the municipality of Ourém, in the parish of Fatima. In that year, a religious event changed its history and importance forever, when three pastoral children, Jacinta and her two cousins Francisco and Lucia, witnessed successive apparitions of Our Lady of the Rosary.
In 2017 was celebrated the centenary of the apparitions with a vast program of events that included concerts, exhibitions, performances and had its highest point on 12 and 13 May in which the usual religious celebrations were attended by His Holiness the Pope Francisco.

The Story of Fatima
Fatima Story. This is a short video that explains the miracle of the sun at Fatima.
Fatima Apparitions and the 'Miracle of the Sun,' 1915 - 1917
The apparitions at Fatima made waves in the Christian community, but examined in a different light, they could hold the same significance for ufologists, mystics, and modern consciousness researchers. Not only are the apparitions incredibly well attested to - with upwards of 70,000 witnessing the events’ culmination in October 1917 - but they are some of the most fantastical on record, blurring the lines between angels and aliens, miracles and mysticism.
**CORRECTION**
The video states that the children first saw the lady at the mouth of the Cave of St. Irene. This is incorrect, and there is no such cave. They saw her in a field called the Cova da Iria.
