Brian watches a bicycle race, hikes up to the Fautaua valley waterfall and rides the bus to Point Venus where Cook landed to observe the transit of Venus in 1769. Point Venus was also the place where Captain Bligh and his Bounty loaded their breadfruit plants shortly before the famous mutiny.

Tahiti, French Polynesia - Papenoo Valley HD (2017)
Tahiti is the largest island in the Windward group of French Polynesia; this overseas collectivity of the French Republic is sometimes referred to as an overseas country. The island is located in the archipelago of the Society Islands in the central Southern Pacific Ocean, and is divided into two parts: The bigger, northwestern part Tahiti Nui and the smaller, southeastern part Tahiti Iti. The island was formed from volcanic activity and is high and mountainous with surrounding coral reefs. The population is 183,645 inhabitants (2012 census), making it the most populous island of French Polynesia and accounting for 68.5 percent of its total population.

TAHITI, The spectacular WATERFALLS of VAIPAHI ???? (French Polynesia, Pacific Ocean)
SUBSCRIBE: - Here's a quick look of the spectacular Vaipahi waterfalls in beautiful Tahiti. These waterfalls can be found after a short walk in the Jardin Public Vaipahi (i.e. Vaipahi Public Garden in French). The Garden is located about 30 kilometers outside of Pape'ete, the capital of Tahiti driving towards the counterclockwise direction and I visited the gardens after a heavy rainstorm, thus the waterflow was at the highest volume as you can see here...
Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia, the South Pacific archipelago. Shaped like a figure-8, it's divided into Tahiti Nui (the larger, western section) and Tahiti Iti (the eastern peninsula). With black-sand beaches, lagoons, waterfalls and 2 extinct volcanoes, it's a popular vacation destination. Explored by Captain James Cook in the 18th century, it was also often painted by French artist Paul Gauguin.

Snorkeling at Mahana Beach on the West Coast of Tahiti Island, French Polynesia
I’m at Mahana Beach on the western side of Tahiti Island, French Polynesia. Mom and I disembarked Oceania Marina cruiseship early this morning in Papeete, which is about 11 miles up the coast. We’re staying at a small guesthouse about a four-minute walk back that way along the main coastal road.
It was pouring rain and cloudy this morning but it’s turned into a beautiful late afternoon so I’m going to head into the water and do some snorkeling. Highlights include a school of tiny blue fish and lots of different coral formations.
I’m out of the water after a 58-minute snorkel. Surprisingly it was really fantastic. No massive schools of fish but lots of different fish all over the place and a really awesome coral reef. It’s really nice here on the west coast of Tahiti Island.

While waiting for others to arrive Haunui took us to see the surfers catch teahupoo famous waves and seen a large groups of dorphins around the area. Then moved on the the other side of islands which can only be access by boat. First stop of swim pass the reef full of colourful big & small fishes, then swim through the door way and there it was refreshing waterfall appear before your eyes.. then we walked along the reefs to visit the natural waterfall.. where we seen massive hermit crap ( the size of adult hands)... Second stop is where we did a little hike adventure through the beautiful forests lots of beautiful scenic coastline. At the end of the journey there is a fresh natural pool where we can try and catch some shrimps and put your survival skills into test. Opportunity for photo with lovely waterfall back drop. Then we head back for lunch and snorkel. Last stop at Tarzan rope swing a chance to let yourself go wild and be kids again. Me and my boyfriend had and amazing tour with Haunui & Mauria. Thank you for your friendly, informative, and lovely hospitality. You both making this an adventurous day for us. X its pretty much a whole day tour worth every penny
