About four times a year the tide between the islands of Tresco and Bryher in the Scilly Isles UK becomes so low, that you can walk from island to island...you don't have long before the tide turns, but its great fun, and an unusual phenomenon.
SIREN - a sensual short queer film about desire & identity
A story of lust and desire, of identity and sexuality.
A young woman’s mundane life is turned upside down when she meets a sensuous older Spanish woman, who is passing through the sleepy English coastal town she lives in.
Siren is a sexually explicit risqué look at women living and loving in modern Britain, exploring the overlooked subject of bisexuality. It’s the story of one woman’s desire for another, the confusion it causes and the powerful effect it can have on our actions.

A Message from JARED LETO:
I’m sitting in the dark writing this having just finished this little film and although I don’t feel quite done yet it’s time to let it go.
This is a story about an incredible adventure that we all shared together this summer. A summer that we will never forget. It’s also a reminder (for myself as well) to LIVE LIFE NO MATTER WHAT. But ultimately it’s a love letter to you all. The believers.
Even before I started shooting I thought of it as a companion piece to Closer To The Edge, a sequel of sorts, the next chapter. I knew it had to be special as Closer is held in such high regard by you all. So we worked hard. And then worked even harder. Sharing this journey with you all has been the gift of a lifetime and I hope you can see and feel that in this piece…our gratitude. It was difficult to surrender this one. I wanted to keep filming, continue the interviews, discover more, learn more and stay on the journey. But it was time and here it is. I hope it speaks to all of you and lets you know how much you mean to us.

NATO wars distract national attention away from VIPaedophile child sexual abuse
How the Establishment hid the monster in their midst: As MPs demand an inquiry into the covering-up of a VIP child abuse ring, chilling proof of how this depraved diplomat was protected by the good and the great
Sir Peter Hayman was a respected diplomat and army officer given an MBE
But he hid a secret life as a member of the Paedophile Information Exchange
The group encouraged child abuse - but he was let off with a caution
Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens raised issue of Sir Peter's abuse in Commons
There were strenuous attempts by Whitehall and Whitehall to stop Dickens
Hayman affair in spotlight amid pressure for alleged paedophile ring inquiry
Involves a missing dossier handed to former home secretary Leon Brittan
Allegedly contained child abuse allegations involving Establishment figures

Pillar of the Establishment: But Sir Peter Hayman broke down and wept when confronted by police
Sir Peter Hayman’s life was one decorated with worthy acronyms and exclusive memberships.
By the time of his retirement from ‘the Diplomatic’, the Stowe and Oxford-educated former Rifle Brigade officer had been a Home and Foreign Office mandarin, working closely with the intelligence services at the height of the Cold War: it has even been suggested he was a senior figure in MI6.
His final posting was as High Commissioner to Canada.
As a result of these labours he was made a Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George (KCMG), Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) and an MBE.
Off duty he also belonged to the MCC and the Army and Navy private members’ club (The Rag). Like Sir Peter, both were pillars of London’s old-school-tie Establishment.
Yet unlike the MCC, there was no distinguishing neckwear at Sir Peter’s rather more discreet third ‘club’, to which he seems to have devoted most physical energy and expense as a pensioner newly returned from post-colonial duties in Ottawa.
His membership number was ‘330’ and this organisation of similarly minded if not gilded individuals was called the Paedophile Information Exchange. It had been formed almost exactly 200 years after the MCC.
PIE supported and encouraged illegal sexual relationships between adults and children. In other words, child abuse.
Sir Peter lived with his wife of 40 years in a lovely home in South Oxfordshire where, in a parallel existence, he was deputy chairman of the Conservative Association. He acted as a churchwarden’s assistant, and opened the local fete.
UK Establishment Closes Ranks as Organised Child Sex Abuse Network Leads Back to No. 10
Scriptonite / December 18, 2013
For decades, vulnerable children from care homes and other institutions were booked to order by rich and powerful men, for sex. This is the allegation put forward in ‘Nightmares at Elm Guest House’, in an interview with Chris Fay of the National Association for Young People in Care. As another significant member of the Conservative party is about to be outed this weekend, we take a closer look at these allegations and ask: how much longer can the UK establishment keep this story suppressed?
Child Sex Abuse and the UK Establishment
In 1974, a group of child sex abusers launched the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE). This group was legal at the time, and sought to promote the rights of ‘paedophiles’. The group espoused the view that children had the right to indulge in their sexual feelings with adults, and argued the age of consent should be lowered to four years old, or abolished altogether.
They had thousands of members, many from senior positions in the media, the security services, politics and other establishment positions.
The members built affiliations with the Gay Liberation Front, the Campaign for Homosexual Equality, mental health charity Mind, and even human rights organisation Liberty (previously named The National Council for Civil Liberties).
PIE members had been using the ‘Contact’ page of their magazine The Magpie, to connect and network with each other. They also used it to introduce consumers of child pornography to suppliers. In 1978, the homes of PIE members were raided and they faced charges of conspiracy against public morality...
History of the Civil Rights Movement
History of the Civil Rights Movement
Beginning with the end of the U.S. Civil War in 1865, African Americans toiled to reach equal status in the eyes of the law. Not only that, they also struggled against abuse – both physical and mental – by racist members of society. Starting with the right to vote, and then laboring to integrate schools and other aspects of everyday life, the Civil Rights Movement made huge strides over a century of work. While the crusade may never truly be over, many considered the election of the country’s first African American President to be a turning point in the battle. In this video, explores the history of the United States’ Civil Rights Movement.
