►Facilities and features
The Palazzo Versace Hotel
The Southport Spit is home to Sea World, Sea World Resort, the Sheraton Mirage Resort and Spa, as well as Palazzo Versace.
►On the end of The Spit is the Gold Coast Sand Pumping Jetty, a popular destination for fishermen and part of the Gold Coast Seaway's Sand Bypassing System.
►The Gold Coast Oceanway and the Federation Walk provide opportunities for pedestrians and cyclists to explore the Spit.
►The Federation Walk Coastal Reserve is a reserve comprising the eastern part of The Spit.
►Formation
The Spit was formed between 1897 and 1898, a product of longshore drift when high seas broke through a small area of land called Jumpinpin on Stradbroke Island. This made a new ocean passage and divided Stradbroke Island in two (North & South). The continuous longshore drift continued to eroded South Stradbroke Island. Navigational difficulties lead to boating accidents, prompting the planning and design of the Gold Coast Seaway.
►The design of the Gold Coast Seaway relied on data from the Beach Protection Authority to prevent it becoming a baymouth bar connecting to South Stradbroke Island. Construction of the project had six main phases: Retaining walls using approximately one million tonnes of imported rock, Dredging 4.5 million cubic metres sand, closure of the old entrance, sand bypassing system, revegetation and sewage outfall. As The Spit then drew demand for private leasehold title of land, along with applications for dredging rights of mineral sands.
►Community growth
There was a township called Moondarewa located on the southern tip of South Stradbroke Island. This township was lost into the sea in the late 1930s during storms as the Broadwater Entrance migrated northwards. The township of Moondarewa was located in the area near where Seaworld is located today
During the 1940s the Southport Yacht Club grew and added marina facilities for the increasing number of private boats wanting to moor on the Spits' eastern side of the Broadwater. Since the 1950s and '60s, the local prawning industry used The Spit for their berth.
The Spit continued to develop, with tourist attractions opening in the 1960s. It is now home to ►Sea World theme park, an upmarket shopping restaurant and bar precinct and several resorts.
►Seaworld Drive is the main street connecting the area of The Spit to the neighbourhood of Main Beach. Parklands and naturally vegetated sand dunes on the eastern Ocean side of the Spit start in Main Beach at Kemp St and Main Beach Parade and run continuously to the tip of the Spit. Some popular parks are within this nature strip. In the southern end toward Main Beach neighbourhood is Hollingdale Park with picnic facilities. Further north past Seaworld Resort, is Phillip Park popular for wedding photographs.
►At the northern end is Doug Jennings Park. A large area with parking and Public facilities. It covers the whole north end of The Spit, with views to Wave Break Island to the east and South Stradbroke Island to the north. It is a popular family park and with rod fishing a familiar sight. The park has been a popular outdoor concert and event venue. It is now part of annual music events like Summadayze.
►In 2018 the Spit Master Plan was announced to revitalise the area for community use. The project is expected to be completed by 2020.

The Beaches of Manly in Sydney Australia - Manly Beach, Shelly Beach, Collins Beach #manlybeach
There are so many things to do and see when you visit Manly in Sydney Australia.
We have a heap of beaches to explore, some on the oceanfront and some on the harbour side that are only accessible via kayak or boat.
The main beach is Manly Beach which is one the most famous beaches in Australia and is at the Southern end of the main beach with Nth Steyne in the Middle and Queenscliff at the Northern most point. All are popular with visitor's, tourist and locals and are Stunning for sunrise.
Enjoy one of Sydney's most famous walk from Manly surf club along Marine Parade, past Fairy Bower, the ocean pool and onto Shelly Beach. Many visitor's to Manly describe Fairy Bower as Sydney's little Mediterranean.
Cabbage tree bay is the ocean bay that runs from Manly point to the bower surf spot of Shelly beach.
Cabbage Tree Bay has the most amazing sea life and is perfect for snorkelling or scuba diving. It is a protected sanctuary so plenty of fish abound. Popular with visitor's and locals.
Above Shelly Beach is an entrance to North Head Sanctuary National Park. The views along the coastline and over Shelly Beach and Manly are incredible. It is the most amazing walk through the Australian bush. Once up there you wouldn't think you are in Sydney as it is so quiet with so much to see.
North Head is a very special place for the Aboriginal people, the cliffs of North Head and views over Sydney Harbour are awesome. It is defiantly one of the best walks to do in Sydney.
Along the harbour we have Collins Flat Beach just off Little Manly Cove, and is one of the best beaches on Sydney Harbour. Next to Collins Beach you have jump rock which is a famous spot to jump into the water. Popular with visitor's and locals.
To the left side of Collins is Store beach which is only accessible by Kayak, boat or walking around the rocks at low tide from Collins. Such a beautiful beach. The bay is a favourite spot to anchor for yachts and cruisers. Popular with visitor's and locals.
If we go further around we have Quarantine Beach which is part of the old Quarantine Station. the station has a deep history of the first settlers and is a great spot to visit by boat or walking up from Manly along Darley road. Popular with visitor's and locals.
If we cross over Manly Cove we come to Little Manly which is a great beach for families as it has a netted section for the kids to play in and a great cafe. Popular with locals and tourists
If we go further around we come to east esplanade and west esplanade beach on Manly cove. Both are great with the east side being popular with locals to chill on the beach and have picnics on the grass {the office).
West side is netted and a good size harbour beach and popular with tourists.
Walk along the path towards Fairlight and we go past Federation Point and come across Delwood Beach. This is a beautiful beach that is small, with not much room and much better at low tide if it's busy. Popular with locals.
If we keep walking we come across Fairlight beach which is Fantastic. Has a very good size ocean pool and a good size beach. It is a popular beach with locals and across the water you can see Forty Baskets and Reef beach which you go past on the Manly to Spit walk.
Pretty much everyone who visit's Loves Manly.

Tasmania Travel
Tasmania is an island state of the Commonwealth of Australia. It is located 240 km (150 mi) to the south of the Australian mainland, separated by Bass Strait. The state encompasses the main island of Tasmania, the 26th-largest island in the world, and the surrounding 334 islands.[14] The state has a population of over 517,000 (as of September 2015), almost half of which resides in the Greater Hobart precinct, which forms the metropolitan area of the state capital and largest city, Hobart.
Tasmania's area is 68,401 km2 (26,410 sq mi), of which the main island covers 64,519 km2 (24,911 sq mi).[15] Tasmania is promoted as a natural state; almost 45% of Tasmania lies in reserves, national parks, and World Heritage Sites[16] and the state was the founding place of the first environmental party in the world.[17] Though an island state, due to a mapping error the state shares a land border with Victoria at its northernmost terrestrial point, Boundary Islet, a nature reserve in Bass Strait. The Bishop and Clerk Islets, about 37 km south of Macquarie Island, are the southernmost terrestrial point of the state of Tasmania, and the southernmost internationally recognised land in Australia.
The island is believed to have been occupied by Aboriginals for 40,000 years before British colonisation. It is thought Tasmanian Aboriginals were separated from the mainland Aboriginal groups about 10,000 years ago when the sea rose to form Bass Strait.[18] The Aboriginal population was estimated to have been between 3000 and 7000 at the time of colonisation, but was almost wiped out within 30 years by a combination of violent guerrilla conflict with settlers known as the Black War, intertribal conflict, and from the late 1820s, the spread of infectious diseases to which they had no immunity. The conflict, which peaked between 1825 and 1831 and led to more than three years of martial law, cost the lives of almost 1100 Aboriginals and settlers. The near-destruction of Tasmania's Aboriginal population has been described by some historians as an act of genocide by the British.
The state was created in 1803 as a penal settlement of the British Empire to prevent claims to the land by the First French Empire during the Napoleonic Wars; around 75,000 convicts were sent to Van Diemen's Land before transportation ceased in 1853.[19] The state was initially a territory of New South Wales and was independently established as a self-governing colony under the name Van Diemen's Land (named after Anthony van Diemen) in 1825. In 1854 the present Constitution of Tasmania was passed and the following year the state received permission to change its name to Tasmania. In 1901, it became a state through the process of the Federation of Australia.

The Queensland Constitution 2001 / The Brigalow Corporation /
The Removal of all Ownership Rights in QLD & all other states of Australia.
This did not just happen by happenstance people, they planned this devious treasonous act & actually had the gall to carried it out hoping not to get caught. Former Qld Premier Peter Beattie is now head of the NRL instead of hanging from a rope around his treasonous neck. WTF?
THE BRIGALOW CORPORATION & PRIVATE LAND OWNERSHIP
1. During the early 1990’s all important and relevant Acts were changed and framed, but were adjourned without a definite date of reprinting.
2. On 3 December 2001, the Queensland Constitution 2001 came into being.
3. On this day, this ACT became the “Fundamental Law of QLD”.
4. 7 June 2002, all the framed Acts were reprinted and became law.
5. QLD then became, at the completion of these matters, without the assent of any of the laws by the Crown or Her Representative, an independent sovereign State and fractured the common law and the separation of powers in that state.
6. 15 July 2002, The Corporations (Q) Act 1990 (Q) Reprint No 3 created in QLD a Corporate Government.
The State of Queensland Australia is registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commissions under No. 0001244818.
7. The Queensland Treasury Corp is registered under No. 0000852555.
8. The old crowns lands act (Qld) was converted to the Land Act 1994 (Qld), and at section 4(1) the Land Administration Commission was renamed Brigalow Corporation.
9. The Land Act 1994 – Reprint No 10c, Part 7A, Section 506C states that the Corporation (Brigalow Corp) represents the Crown.
10. Culminating in the Beattie Govt introduction of the QLD Constitution 2001, QLD government administrations had reworked backward every piece of Federal and state legislation, removing any connection to and mention of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, British law and the Royal Seal of England.
11. These acts were then reworked forward, replacing the removed elements with the Queen of Australia (as created by the Whitlam Govt in 1973) and the Great Seal of both Australia and QLD.
12. This means that the legislation contained in those acts are now “governed” by the government of those Seals, not the government of the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution 1900.
13. The Australia Waste Lands Act 1855 was reprinted in 1996 under the Seal of QLD, and because the Queen of Australia was also now sealed with the Seal of QLD, this effectively created a QLD “ownership” of all Crown land in Australia.
14. And as the introduction of the Corporations (Q) Act 1900 (Q) Reprint No 3 had created a Corporate Govt, this effectively meant all Crown land “ownership” was now under the control of the Qld Corporation, known as the Brigalow Corp.
15. All Crown land, assets and infrastructure in Australia including schools, hospitals, roads, etc are subject to and responsible to the Ministers of the State of QLD as cited at Chapter III of the QLD Constitution 2001.
16. All Sovereign People are now persons under the Corporation, All persons are chattel ( a piece of property that is moveable).
17. Their land, bank accounts and all items of ownership are now assets under the Brigalow Corporation.
18. The Supreme Court, the District Courts and the Magistrate’s Courts are now inside the Parliament of the State of QLD, and as such must obey the QLD Constitution 2001.
19. The Australian Constitution, the Common Law & Equity, the High Court and the Federal Government no longer have any superior governance over the State of QLD.
20. The State of QLD and the Sovereign People of QLD have only Civil and Statute Law in this state.
21. As private ownership can not exist under Civil and Statute Law, all private equity and inheritance in the State is now the property of “the State”.
