Hiking at the Felkers Falls Conservation Area
On the edge of the Escarpment in Stoney Creek is the Felker’s Falls Conservation Area. This is a quiet and secluded wooded park tucked away inside a residential area.
There’s free parking, a beautiful waterfall, and a number of different hiking trails that you can explore. This is one of my favorite parks in Hamilton and it's a beautiful place to visit throughout the year.
Felker’s Falls stand at 20 meters in height and is classified as a ribbon waterfall. There are a few different scenic vantage points and you can hiking to the bottom for a closer look.
Don't forget to explore the network of hiking trails. There's access to the Bruce Trail from here as well making it a great place to park and spend the day hiking.
I captured this footage with my old GoPro Hero 4. Just wanted to throw together a quick video to give you guys a better look at what you can expect at the Felker’s Falls Conservation Area. In the future I'll head back and make a better video!

Felker's Falls in Hamilton, Ontario
I brought my drone to Felker's Falls in Hamilton/Stoney Creek, Ontario and made this short video.
Felker's Falls is one of the many ribbon waterfalls in Hamilton and it stands about 22-meters high.
During the spring and late winter there's a lot more water flowing over it but it's mostly fed by storm drains and a very small stream and that's why it doesn't usually have a powerful flow.
This waterfall is located in the Felker's Falls Conservation Area and is one of the highlights of the Bruce Trail.
It was tricky to find somewhere suitable to launch the drone from and it took me a few minutes to land it because it was such a stressful landing spot.

Felker's Falls--Stoney Creek, Ontario
A brief visit to one of the many waterfalls in this region of Ontario. I'm sorry about the quality. It shows up so clearly directly from my camera. Windows Movie Maker is compressing it somehow. Well, Movie Maker was free so I can't complain.
In any event, this is a beautiful part of southwestern Ontario. For these waterfalls and more see:

TIFFANY FALLS WATERFALL & HIKING HAMILTON, ONTARIO
Today I reached Tiffany Falls in Hamilton, Ontario.
Loved the pathway created, Tiffany Falls Ontario, shows that Hiking In Hamilton, is the best. Hiking to Tifffany Falls was very relaxing and the Hamilton Hiking was an adventure.
Tiffany Falls is one of the most elegant looking waterfalls in the Hamilton region. It used to be difficult to access, especially during rough weather, but a new pathway was added in 2007. The new path includes two bridges that cross over the river and a viewing platform near the falls. It is a great waterfall in the Spring, but tends to dry up to just a trickle in the heat of the Summer months. Now is the best time to enjoy it!
History
Tiffany Falls was named after Dr. Oliver Tiffany, the district’s first doctor. Born in Massachusetts, he studied medicine at the Philadelphia Medical College, and came to Ancaster Township in 1796. Because his practice covered such a vast territory, Dr. Tiffany would stable horses at farms all over the district, so that he could always locate a fresh mount if necessary during his rounds. He died on May 7, 1835, after serving the people faithfully for forty years. It is said that six hundred people attended his funeral, and the traffic jam created by the influx of buggies and wagons was talked about by residents for a long time afterward.
How to get there
To reach Tiffany Falls by car, take the 403 to Hamilton and exit at Main Street West. Turn left when you exit at the light then drive a few miles till you see the power lines. There is a mall on the left side called Main West Mall, turn left at the light there. Then continue left on Main West, which becomes Wilson Street as you continue toward Ancaster. About half way up the escarpment, you will see Harpers Nursery on the right side, now you are getting closer, there is no signage, but when you see the road widen for a passing lane, you will come across a small parking area labelled “Tiffany Falls Conservation Area.” Park your car and take the footpath that runs along the creek’s south bank.
To reach Tiffany Falls via a walking trail, take the Dundas section of the Bruce Trail.
