Fernleigh Track southbound - cycling time-lapse
A 4x time-lapse ride on the Fernleigh Track from Adamstown to Belmont near Newcastle. A 15km shared pathway using a disused railway corridor, the curves are sweeping and gradients shallow with a few reminders of the railway heritage along the way.

Musketeer - Johnny Red (Live on the Fernleigh Track. Newcastle, Australia 2015)
Ben, Natalia and I went down to an old coal train tunnel on the Fernleigh track, in Newcastle Australia, and took this solo acoustic take of the song Johnny Red. The song is about a convict being sent to the mines in Newcastle, so it was only fitting.
Oh and we only had the microphone from the camera, so I apologise for the wind on the mic. Otherwise the acoustics in the tunnel were alot of fun. So enjoy.

Fernleigh Track
Fernleigh Track is an abandoned rail line that stretches from Belmont to Adamstown approx 100+ kilometres north of Sydney.
Passenger train services started in 1897 and ceased in 1991.
The Belmont branch was then converted into a rail trail called Fernleigh Track.
Platforms were restored at:
Belmont
Jewells
Redhead
Whitebridge
(There's one here i couldn't find that starts with K)
Adamstown
You will see these Platforms in the video.
You will also see the Fernleigh loop track and the disused rail tunnel along the way.

NITRO CIRCUS ride Newcastle trails
Local boys Chris Redshaw and Charlie Payne were stoked to have some of the Nitro Circus guys come out to their spot for a Friday arvo ride/film session....
With legends like Andy Buckworth, Kurtis Downs, Matt Wyatt and James Foster there to throw down, it made for an epic afternoon and RNRLIFECO were there to capture some of the action!!

Fernleigh Track for all .Meeting many needs
The Fernleigh Track between Newcastle and Lake Macquarie NSW Australia makes excellent use of an old rail line for walkers,runners,cyclists and pet walkers.Sight impaired rider John Domandl shares his love for the track whilst out there training on his piloted tandem bike.

We believe the proposed development by SNL Building Constructions Pty Ltd for Whitebridge is overly large and crowded for the site. It will be bordered by The Fernleigh track, Dudley Rd, Kopa St and Lonus Ave.
Please share this video and let developers know that this kind of development is not welcome here.
The Whitebridge Community Alliance has vowed to fight to have this Development changed to something more suited to the area.
