The walk from Travelodge Hotel Leeds central to Cosmopolitan hotel for LFF (Leeds First Friday)
This video is to help people who are wondering how far the walk is from Travelodge Hotel Leeds central to The Cosmopolitan hotel for LFF (Leeds First Friday).
As you can see the route is very straight forward and easy going.
I have recorded the walk in daylight so you can see the route clearly.
The route I have taken here from hotel to hotel is the shortest, walking down Blayds Yard to Swinegate.
There is an alternative route which involves quite a few stairs, you can see these at the end of my video, these stairs bring you down next to the Chaophraya restaurant onto Swinegate. I have only ever used these stairs once.
As you can see in my video, its about one minute walk from the point of leaving the lift at the Travelodge to reaching the door to the Cosmopolitan hotel. If your not used to walking in heels then it may take longer.
My video starts with me walking from my hotel room down the corridor to the lift, then in the lift going down to Ground level, the doors open and you walk to your right and through the automatic doors then push the outside door open and its just a very short walk down the gentle slope of Blayds Yard to Swinegate and then flat terrain to the Cosmo hotel.
So here is the link to this Hotel :

Teleconnect Gigabit Voucher Scheme for Leeds CityFibre
Get up to £3000 off with the voucher scheme.
Check if you are eligible for the Gigabit voucher Scheme with Teleconnect:
What is it?
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport have £200 million to spend testing ways to accelerate delivery of full-fibre. One of the chosen methods is to use connection vouchers.
What period does the pilot scheme run for?
The scheme runs to the end of 31st March 2019 or until the money runs out. The scheme may be suspended at any time.
How much is each voucher worth?
A minimum of £500 and maximum of £3000. Carriers must demonstrate that no more is claimed than the true installation cost.
How long are vouchers valid for?
12 months from the date the contract is entered into. Sales orders will include this wording:
“Do not sign this contract until you have an authorised voucher. Please note if the service cannot be installed within 12 months of date of contract for any reason, a Connection Voucher will not fund this install. In the event your voucher is revoked on the grounds you have provided misleading information to DCMS, you will be liable to reimburse us the value of the voucher. ”
What happens to issued vouchers when the money runs out?
DCMS account for the value committed when the voucher is issued, not paid, so there should not be anyone disappointed at the end of the scheme.
What area does the scheme cover?
The entire administrative areas of:
Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Bristol and Bath and North East Somerset.
Coventry and Warwickshire – all districts.
West Yorkshire Combined authorities – Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, Wakefield and York.

FTTP - BT - Openreach [Installation]
Many people are hearing about Fibre Broadband, typically these are FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) solutions where the fibre is taken to the road side cabinet and the final connection from there is through copper to the consumers property.
FTTP is true full Fibre to the Premises, this vlog shows the build out of the fibre network being installed in the village and then BT's installation on the day!
