Dust In The WIND by Kevin ROCK Reiss aka Rock-n-Roll Reissy (Kansas Cover)
Kevin ROCK Reiss aka Rock-n-Roll Reissy sings Classic Kansas Top 40 Hit Dust In The WIND at n'Joy Coffee House in the Spring of 2009 Plymouth Wisconsin. Rock-n-Roll Reissy an entertainer, singer, songwriter, actor, DJ, and Positive Motivational Speaker has been in front of LIVE AUDIENCES since Church Sunday School Dramas, or 2nd Grade performance at Elkhart Lake Grade School under Mrs. Billquist Get A Woman A Woman A Good Washer Woman as young Reiss dressed up as a cleaning lady, and had the crowd in stitches. Throughout Grade School at both Elkhart Lake, Glenbeulah, and Plymouth Reiss always found himself singing. Competitively went on to win State Competitions, an 8th Grade Scholorship Program for a Summer Music Camp, and numerous other high honors with voice. An accomplished paid Wedding Singer by 13yrs old teenage Reiss continued following and living the dream of being a vocalist. A rare honor to make swing choir by Freshman year as well as leads in The King and I musical. Unfortunately by 14yrs old drugs and alcohol began tearing away the foundations of this B+ Student and much fell apart for school and music opportunities. Kevin ROCK Reiss got clean from drugs August 17, 1986. Shortly after sobriety, he jumped into several ROCK BANDS including Scepter which later won the battle of the bands. Freedom Fighter wrote over 40 Songs in approximately 3 months in 1989 as Reiss's poetry and melody lines flowed freely with a Creed type Sound a decade before Creed arose to the ROCK SCENE! After marriage in 1990 musical aspirations slowed to have 3 awesome kids, as Reiss changed his goals to become SUPERDAD. Divorced a decade later, Rock-n-Roll Reissy has been slowly picking up microphones and sharing his voice with many un-suspecting Karaoke audiences. This music video was shot by his own TV Production Crew member and best friend Scott SCRIBE Pratt on a fun night out at n'Joy Coffee in Plymouth Wisconsin. ROCK sang, produced, and edited the footage himself under his HWETV Productions. He has a TEAM of accomplished videography professionals. This is just something simple he threw together. Personal Safety for RVers w/Jim Koca (Webinar #22)
Welcome to Escapees Webinars! These broadcasts are intended to connect the RV-curious, or even experienced RVer, with those who have in-depth knowledge of various facets of the lifestyle.
Here, we spoke with Jim Koca, Director of Education for Escapees RV Club. He travels full-time in his RV with his wife, Lisa. They split their time between teaching RVers Boot Camp sessions and hosting adventures for fellow RVers, all for Escapees RV Club. In addition to his work with Escapees, Jim is a retired law enforcement officer, has many years of experience in accident reconstruction, and has an insatiable curiosity for how things work.
In this broadcast, Jim shared several important tips for protecting both yourself and your property as you enjoy your RV. His advice comes from his years of traveling in various types of RVs, research conducted while working in law enforcement, and bits of information he has learned from fellow RVers himself!
Tips covered today:
Find a safe RV park- there are many apps and websites out there to help you research ideal parks and learn from others' experience.
Install motion lights- very useful when you're returning to your rig after dark or need to take the dog out for a late night potty break
Replace your bay/storage locks- MANY other items out there have this identical key, CH 751, so replacing your locks makes it harder for a thief to get into your storage bays (ch751.com)
Hide your valuables- use products like Hide-a-Cans, fireproof safes, and other methods of concealment to secure your valuable belongings
Get a cellphone booster- these help you maintain a usable signal even in some remote areas
Choose your self-defense weapons carefully- Jim covers several of the options, from firearms to defensive sprays
Carry a weather radio- stay aware of your surroundings
Install a peephole in your RV door- this allows you to see who is knocking without opening your door
For solo travelers, pick up spare boots or a dog leash and keep them outside your rig- this indicates you aren't as alone as someone may assume
Don't be afraid to move- if you're uncomfortable with where you've parked, move
Keep your key fob handy- you can use it to set off your alarm to notify someone you need help or to deter an intruder
For solo travelers, use tracking apps or coordinates to share your location with trusted friends
Avoid posting your travels to social media in real-time
Consider installing a deadbolt on your RV door- -it's much stronger than the factory lock
If leaving your towable behind, use hitch locks to make it harder to steal your trailer
