Wiltshire's First Paper Mill
Sixteenth Century ... Broken Bridges Mill ... Bemerton, Salisbury, Uk.
Through which runs the River Nadder, on it's winding way to meet with the River Avon, close to Salisbury Cathedral ...
Built between 1554 - 1596, as given by the historian, and writer, Aubrey .
This Mill is also said to be the first Paper Mill in the county of Wiltshire, and the second in England.

The Negative Impact On Trade In Salisbury
As a medieval and quintessentially English City, Salisbury relies on tourism and trade. The last week however has seen a reported 50% decline in footfall for small businesses in the open area of the Maltings with some proclaiming it as their worst trading week in their history. As well as this, local Art Gallery and Cafe Fisherton Mill have seen a decline in trade due to a confusion over their name! Our reporter Rhaya Barton went to speak to some of those affected.

Avon river; Amesbury
Amesbury is a small town with the most important Mesolithic Site in Europe. The remains of the 9,000 years old meals were found here. The richest Bronze age burial happened here.
The town is situated on the banks of Avon river. This river was used by the people of the Stonehenge era to transport the huge rocks of Stonehenge near its site.
The bridge from where I am shooting this video was built in 1775.
Look at the ducks, how they are able to resist the stream of the river with their determined and consistent efforts, to stay by, where they wish to and not let the flow carry them away. :D
