Our First walk in the Lake District was just a short one around Fitz Park in Keswick.

Silt and debris caused by Storm Desmond have to be removed from the river Greta. a total of Seven thousand tons of silt, gravel and rock were removed from this area alone!

Storm Desmond Fitz Park, Keswick, Early morning. Part 1
Our dogs needed there morning walk even as Desomond was starting to get to grips in Keswick. Fitz Park in Keswick, was still open for business as the normaly tiny river Greta, was starting to swell. It was very early in the morning on Saturday 5th December 2015.
