The annual toy run took place today with people from all over the region gathering for the ride run by the Flinders Tourers Motorcycle Association.
Starting outside of the Port Pirie council chambers the group rode around Port Pirie and the surrounding district to all of the collection points where toys have been donated.
The day finished with a presentation to St Vincent de Paul and a barbecue at the Flinders Tourers Motorcycle Association club rooms.
All motorbike riders are welcome to join in the fun by riding with the group around Port Pirie or continuing on their further 90-mile trip through the Flinders Ranges.

Whyalla South Australia New Years Eve 2017
AUSTRALIA-video blog #11 part 2 (4WD Australian Bush)
Part 2 of the Australian Outback trip!
On the fourth day we visited Thomas River and made camp at Point Malcolm. This is where we have our first camp fire and Ross' obsession with burning things starts with him tearing apart an old wooden clothes line for fire wood. This is also where our can smashing competition begins. The next day we made our way to Point Malcolm where huge waves crash against the rocks. We also visited a large salt lake and the old telegraph station. On the sixth day we visit the Baxter Cliffs on the Great Australian Bight. These are sheer rock cliffs on the southern coast of Western Australia. This is probably my favorite place on my trip. We decide to camp next to the Baxter Memorial. On day seven we go to Caiguna road house where we see the first signs of civilization in four days. We drive on the Nullarbor whish is the longest strip of straight road in Australia, about 90 miles. Eventually we turn off into an old coach road where we are met with bad luck and multiple flat tires. We eventually find a place to camp along this route. On the last day we drive to Hyden and visit Wave Rock, a large rock formation in the shape of a wave. From here we drive back to Mandurah. T
This trip was absolutely amazing!
