MOUNTAIN CLIMBING OR ROCK CLIMBING?! | FLINDERS PEAK, PURGA!!

Our adventures continue with the decision to hike Flinders Peak, located a small 30 minute drive away from home in Purga. It was an absolute ripper of a hike, with a steep incline from the moment we stepped on the track and many many rocks and boulders to be scrambled. Flinders Peak is south west of Brisbane Australia. just over 1 hours drive from Brisbane CBD. Its location is part of the Goolman conservation estate.comprising of over 2,200 hectares, this park has many ancient volcanic peaks and large forest areas.
I was lucky enough to catch site of a brush-tailed rock wallaby, peregrine falcon and a wedgetail eagle gliding far off in the distance.
This trail isn't an easy day hike, if you watch this video you should get a feel for it!
