Paragliding training in Algodonales Spain with Flyspain. Day 1

Today was our first day of CP training with Flyspain in Algodonales Spain, and we didn't have the best weather, but we did some bunny hops in the morning so they could assess us and then some kiting in the afternoon.

Unfortunately the two mountains we went to were blown out but it was a pretty successful and informative day none the less.

Great instructors and owner who keep it enjoyable but safe. Looking forward to our first real flights.

Paragliding training with Flyspain in Algodonales, day 3

Today was our third day of paraglider training in Algodonales, Spain with the BHPA school Flyspain.

The weather was better for us today so we headed to a mountain and managed to get in 4 flights throughout the day, breaking in the middle for high winds.

Unfortunately the wind died on me twice and on the second time I had a bit of a crash, but came out of it with just a sore wrist and annoyance at not having stayed up. My instructor said I just had a very unlucky day and I handled it well, but still sucked a bit.

All in it was a good day of training and hopefully the wind is a bit better tomorrow and I can get some proper soaring in.

Paragliding. on a CP. 2000ft launch, doing big ears and speed bar. Camera is on my knee hence the strange angle. Unfortunatley i had to connect it there to minimize the risk of catching any lines of the glider.

Today was day 4 of training with Flyspain in Algodonales Spain. Great day with a couple of varied flights with amazing lift and some excellent height gained. Big ears, speed bar and asymmetric collapses. Plus I got to fly around with vultures and then a huge flock of what looked like hawks.

Was a great day after yesterday's injury and short flights with probably an hour and a half of airtime. Would have been longer but it was freezing up in the air watching the sunset after having sat in the wind waiting for a couple hours. Great day of training.
