Vi var 3 uredde karer, Lasse, Jens og meg selv.som trosset alle farer og reiste i vei.
Her får dere også se Lasses første flytime, riktig nok er det snakk om fast grunn under flyet hele tiden......., men alikevel.....
Mange fine fly utstilt og det er vel verd å ta en tur der.

♦ Stavanger Airport, Sola ; IATA: SVG, ICAO: ENZV) is an international airport located serving Stavanger, a city and municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The airport is located 6 NM (11 km; 6.9 mi) southwest of Stavanger, in the municipality of Sola. It is Norway's third-busiest airport, with both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter traffic for the offshore North Sea oil installations. In addition, the Royal Norwegian Air Force operates Westland Sea King search and rescue helicopters from Sola Air Station.
The airport had 85 306 air movements and 4,501,368 passengers in 2015. Five airlines offered domestic flights to nine destinations while ten airlines offered international flights to 37 destinations. Two helicopter companies operate out of Sola. The busiest route is Sola–Oslo Gardermoen, which has about 28 daily flights. In the vicinity of the airport there is an aeronautical museum, Flyhistorisk Museum, Sola.

Boeing 737 simulator SSTD home cockpit
This is a Singel Seat Trainer Devise (SSTD) by Flightdeck Solutions second hand, and were put together in colaboration with Espen Revheim at Sola Flymuseum. We eventually got this magnificent SSTD flying again thanks to his great expertice.
The FMC seen in this video is fully operative, but we coudnt get the screen to work yet, so the hardware is interfacing directly side by side with upper EICAS.
Although this is a roughly made video, it makes out a sence of what simulation is all about.
