Flying Circus Airshow and Hot Air Balloon Virginia USA
Thanks for watching.
These are the highlights of the Flying Circus Airshow And Hot Air Balloon Festival in 2017.
Be advised that the Hot Air Balloon Festival is usually done only 2 times during the season each year. It is highly recommended to bring an umbrella and sunscreen.
This is a very cheap and fun activity for all ages. Usually starts in the early afternoon and continues through the evening with the Hot Air Balloons. You can purchase rides on the planes and the balloons on-site. They are not cheap but I believe they are worth it.

Flight in 1929 Fleet 7 (N2Y-1) N9433 Biplane, Flying Circus Bealeton, VA. Grass Airstrip (2009)
Flight on May 18th 2009, I put together some video (from old cellphone) & slideshow of pictures that I pulled from my archive.
My niece Andrea Lewis & I got to experience a flight in this very historic 1929 Fleet 7 N9433 (I mixed in her flight & my flight into this upload) We flew at the Flying Circus Aerodrome Bealeton Virginia (Website listed below) They have Airshows & Biplane Rides
We got to experience takeoff & landings on Grass Airstrips.
This aircraft originally was a Fleet model 2 and later was converted into a model 7 with an enlarged tail-fin & Kinner R-5 160Hp Engine
A huge thank you to the owner/pilot Bryon Stewart, Retired USAF F-16 Fighter Pilot, the event wasn't going on but Bryon was very gracious & took us flying.

Saturday October 8, 2011
The Flying Circus had their PT-17 Stearman up while their flag jumper exits the aircraft, the National Anthem is played, and a flight of two Stearmans, a Waco, and a Fleet pass overhead.
I apologize for the black or white blips in the video, as I still have yet to figure out what causes it.
If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate version of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at .
2011 Culpeper Air Fest - The Bealeton Flying Circus (Flag Jump & Formation Flyby)
2011 Culpeper Air Fest
Saturday, October 8, 2011
Watch as the participating aircraft of the Bealeton Flying Circus open up the show at the 12th Annual Culpeper Air Fest. It starts with a jumper jumping out of a PT-17 Stearman bi-plane and bringing in the American flag. It's then followed by a couple formation flybys by four bi-planes. I know that two are PT-17s, but I'm not sure what the other two are.
CULPEPER VIRGINIA AIR SHOW 2011
These are pictures from a air show that I went to last year. To my understanding it has gotten bigger each year. It is usually in the fall. I have been the past 2 years. Great family fun. Not the biggest show I have been to but worth checking out if in the area. As always thanks to KattattaK for the music
Hope you enjoy
