The song is Bella Olympia (ΜΠΕΛΛΑ ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑ) taken from Guardians of Hellenism, Vol. 7 (Macedonia & Thassos). The singer is Domna Mega.
The paintings are mostly from Nicolas Sperling, and the pictures come from the illustrated greek encyclopedia 'The Greek Folk Dress'(Η Ελληνική λαϊκή φορεσία).
The translation of the song:
'The band is playing - Bella Olympia
The band is playing - Bella Olympia,
My sweet dear, the villagers are going,
In front walks, Bella Olympia,
In front walks, Bella Olympia,
The villagers are going,
The villagers are going to fetch the wooden beams.
In front walks Bella Olympia,
In front walks Bella Olympia,
My sweet dear, a red-haired lad,
a red-haired lad, Constantine, Hatzimitsori's son.
The lads are going, Bella Olympia,
The lads are going, Bella Olympia,
My sweet dear, to take Olympia.
To take Olympia to the Church.
Her Mother won't give her, Bella Olympia.
Her Mother won't give her, Bella Olympia.
My sweet dear, along goes Thanos Bouzas,
Along goes Thanos Bouzas and Yiannis Poulkas.'
