If you have one day to eat, this German food tour of Munich will give you some serious satisfaction. I have to admit, I going to multiple back to back restaurants to eat German food is a challenge - German food is so hearty and so filling. By the end of this food tour in Munich, I was ready to sleep immediately!
Here are all the details about the restaurants and prices of the dishes I ate:
1. Andy's Krablergarten
Andy's Krablergarten is known for their schnitzel, and they serve it up in a huge way. The cutlets are made from pork, and they are big and fried fresh. I tried a Hamburg schnitzel with eggs and a Munich style schnitzel with horseradish in the breading. It was fantastic.
Address: Thalkirchner Str. 2, 80337 München, Germany
Price: 10.90 EUR per schnitzel
2. Andechser am Dom
This is a nice German food restaurant, located on the side of Munich Frauenkirche, a major landmark in the heart of Munich. They serve a variety of traditional German Bavarian cuisine. My favorite dish was the mixed sausage plate, but the leberkäse was also good.
Address: Weinstraße 7A, 80333 München, Germany
Total price: 36.30 EUR
3. Ice cream at Schuhbeck's Eissalon
Address: Pfisterstraße 11, 80331 München, Germany
4. Bergwolf
Bergwolf is a German fast food restaurant in Munich, and their speciality is currywurst, a plate of sausage topped in sauce and fries. It’s not the healthiest of all German dishes, but it sure tastes pretty amazing - one of those 3 am kind of dishes.
Address: Fraunhoferstraße 17, 80469 München, Germany
Price: 5.40 EUR
5. Augustiner Bräustuben
Augustiner Bräustuben is a classic German brewery and restaurant in Munich, Germany. You’ll find some very classic Bavarian dishes on their menu and a good selection of beer.
Address: Landsberger Str. 19, 80339 München, Germany
Total price: 24.25 EUR
Thank you for watching this German food tour of Munich. I hope it will provide you with some tips on where to eat amazing German food when you’re in Munich!

Berlin in 5 Days — What to Do, See and Eat + Day Trips! | The Travel Intern
Berlin is indeed a beautiful city that marries its rich past and diverse present. Here's our adventures from the five days that we were in Berlin, including two day trips that we took to neighbouring regions, Potsdam and Spreewald:
00:16 - Scoot
Fly direct to Berlin from Singapore via Scoot! Highly recommend getting the long haul bundle meal too.
00:21 - Berlin Welcome Card
For unlimited travel and discounted entrance fees, grab a Berlin Welcome Card for tourists only. Super worth it, and super fuss-free too!
00:26 - Brandenburg Gate
This was once a symbol of division during the Cold War, but it now stands for and signifies German unity and freedom.
00:35 - Checkpoint Charlie
Checkpoint Charlie was the only point from which foreigners could enter East Berlin from the West while the Berlin Wall was still up. Today, you can take a photograph with the actors dressed as American soldiers for 3 Euros! Otherwise, you can snap shots but it might be a little tricky!
00:45 - Reichstag Building, Reichstag Dome
Up here, you can get a fantastic panoramic view of Berlin's city centre and learn more about the history of this building! Make sure to book your tickets to visit the Dome though, because slots run out very quickly. Don't worry, it's free!
00:54 - Mauerpark
In the summer on Sundays, everyone's welcome to a mass karaoke session in the amphitheatre. The vintage market also draws lots of people to Mauerpark, young and old!
01:06 - Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap
Touted as one of the best kebap joints in Berlin, you can queue up to an hour on certain days, no matter the season (yes, even in Winter in the snow..) If you're ever in Berlin, you HAVE to get one of these kebaps. Super yummy!
01:15 - Markthalle Neun
Enjoy a wide variety of food on Street Food Thursdays in Markthalle Neun, from mac and cheese to slow-cooked boar, to artisanal ice-cream.
01:26 - Kneipe Klo
Also known as a toilet-themed bar in Berlin, this bar has decorations lining the entire place that make it seem like it was made for Halloween 24/7! Warning: beware of jumpscares around every corner.
01:43 - Berlin Wall Memorial
Where the Berlin Wall once stood, there are remnants of border houses that stood in between East and West Berlin in the past.
01:53 - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
Home to 2,711 concrete slabs designed by American architect Peter Eisenman, its symbolism is open to interpretation, with the most common being that of a graveyard.
02:00 - Topography of Terror (Topographie des Terrors)
Once the most feared site of Berlin, it has now been converted into a free public museum for visitors to learn more about the history of Berlin during the Nazi regime.
02:09 - Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp
Just 35 kilometres away from Berlin, Oranienburg houses the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. We recommend going on the tour led by SANDEMANs walking tours.
02:25 - East Side Gallery
The longest open air gallery in the world that's free of charge and spans 1.3 kilometres.
02:35 - Burgermeister
This joint used to house a public toilet, but has since been converted into one of Berlin's most popular burger joints. Super juicy meat patties!
02:47 - Spreewald, Lübbenau (Biosphärenreservat Spreewald)
Take a day trip one hour out of Berlin to the cozy city of Spreewald. The punt tours are a must-do, so book that early! Also, don't forget to try their specialties — gherkins!
03:03 - Potsdam
40 minutes from Berlin, this is another day trip that you should take. It really felt like stepping into a fairytale! Check out Sanssouci and the Neue Palais (New Palace)!
Stay till the end of the video to find out how we felt and what our favourite experiences were!

Munich is a beautiful city and in this video I’m taking you on a German food tour and we also visited some of the famous attractions and sights in Munich.
Cafe Frischhut - This is a legendary cafe in Munich, known for serving schmalznudel, a savory type of German donu. I thought it was alright, but not must-eat. Total price for 3 people - 16 EUR
Viktualienmarkt Munich - This is one of the best German street food markets in Munich, with plenty of street food stalls to choose from. I tried a classic Bavarian white sausage and pretzel (Weisswurst 5.90 EUR) and leberkässemmel, which is a classic meat loaf sandwich (2.99 EUR). Viktualienmarkt Munich is one of the best places to visit as a food lover in Munich, Germany.
St. Peter's Church - We then took a walk in St. Peter’s Church, one of the most recognized churches in Munich.
Marienplatz - This is the main center of Munich, and the architecture is stunning.
Hofbräuhaus - If you ask where to eat in Munich, this will no doubt be the number one suggestion, it’s an institution in Munich. It really is an amazing culinary piece of history, a giant beer and food hall where you can eat and drink and fully embrace German food and culture. Total price for 3 people - 64.50 EUR
English Garden (Englischer Garten) - I didn’t know what to expect visiting Munich’s English Garden, but it turned out to be one of the most beautiful parks I’ve ever seen. We stopped to watch the Eisbach Wave, a place in the canal where there’s rushing water and people take turns surfing the waves.
Chinesischer Turm Beer Garden - Finally to end the day we headed over to Chinesischer Turm, probably the most well known of all beer gardens in Munich. It’s a great place to hand out, eat and drink. Total price for 3 people - 45 EUR
I hope you enjoyed this Munich, Germany food and travel guide tour. Munich is a great city to visit and I fully enjoyed our trip.

Learning German with easy stories is one of the most effective ways to learn the language.
When reading a story you expand your vocabulary, understand how German sentences are
structured and put together and most importantly you start to pick up German words and
phrases and beginn to use them yourself.
Finding suitable German short stories which are easy can be quite difficult.
A lot of the stories you find online are old and the German language sounds
dated. Tenses and sentence structure can be complex and not written
in way you would use them in a real life German conversation or story.
The German short stories on „ich heisse sherin“ aim to be
easy enough for beginners and at the same time
still educational for more advanced German language learners.
The topics range from explaining differences between similar
sounding German words, focusing on a single word and its word group,
personal letters, German idioms and so on.
All supporters of „ich heisse sherin“ get a PDF with each story
with the complete written out German short story,
a German-English vocabulary list and
exercises to
practice each short story’s content.
Still for as little as $1.
