Thai Street Food in Khao Lak Thailand. Taste Testing at Bang Niang Night Market. New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: Khao Lak Night Market Tour.
Thai Street Food is delicious and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand ... it’s a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. This video was filmed at the Bang Niang Market in Khao Lak, Phang Nga Thailand.
The Google Maps coordinates for the market are:
It's open every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am till 10pm, but the best time to get there is after 4pm.
Bang Niang market is a mix of local market and tourist market. You will find everything there, from fresh food (meat, seafood, fruit & vegetables) and cooking ingredients, to street food, souvenirs, clothes and all other types of toristy items. The market is also home to a number of bars and restaurants. If you are in Khao Lak, Bang Niang Market is definitely worth a visit.
Check out my recent video: 8 Thai Street Foods You Should Eat in Phuket in 2019 here:
Thai Street Food is a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are so many Thai dishes and Thai sweets and desserts on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! You’ll find the same dishes at a fraction of the price you’d pay in a Thai restaurant. And in case you’re worried, eating street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since I moved to Thailand in April 2012, and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
Check out my recent video: Thai Street Food Guide: 5 Street Food You Should Eat in Thailand 2018 here:
The food markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap and tasty Thai cuisine on your Thailand holidays. Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

10 Things to do in Khao Lak all year around with NGA Travel
- Khao Lak is located in Phang Nga province about 82 kilometers north of Phuket International Airport, and it takes about an hour and a half in a taxi. The Khao Lak area is located facing the Andaman Sea, it is here most divers and snorkelers stay before going to the Similan and Surin islands.Khao Lak has a lot of nature around it, it's very green with lots of forests, mountains and white sand beaches. Nature lovers will find Khao Lak to be one of the best place to spend a holiday. NGA Travel’s licensed tour guide speaks English, French and Thai.
One of the most asked questions here at NGA Travel is what is there to do in the Khao Lak area, so here I would like to recommend 10 things to do in Khao Lak, Thailand.
1. Peaceful Beaches - As there is about 23 km beaches along the Andaman Coast it is always possible to find a favourite spot to swim and to relax.
2. Exciting Nature Exploration - Apart from all the beaches there is so much nature to explore around Khao Lak, mountains, forests, and waterfalls.
3. Nice Resorts and Accommodation - Khao Lak has been growing steadily for the past many years. Every year new guest houses, hotels and resorts shoot up, and there is a place to stay for every budget.
4. Thai Cooking Classes - Go shopping and then learn to cook amazing Thai dishes and of course eat them.
5. Visit a Local Market - There are a couple of markets in Khao Lak, the most famous one Bang Niang Market, is open every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
6. Make New Friends - Thailand is called “The Land of Smiles” and there is a good reason for that, Thai people are always friendly and helpful.
7. Get close to the Thai Culture - with our ‘Thai Village Tour’ it is possible to get a really good understanding of the Thai people and their culture.
8. Learn Thai at Khao Lak Langue School - If you are a returning visitor it is a great idea to learn basic Thai, it will be easier to get around and also make it easier to do some shopping.
9. Train Muay Thai - We are close friends with the people at Combat-360 where you can train Muay Thai, and other martial art disciplines. They also have weight loss programs as well as Yoga classes.
10. If there are Waves, Go Surfing - As mentioned, if there are waves, there are great surf spots at Memories Beach where you can rent surfing equipment.
There are lots of things to do in Khao Lak, more than we have mentioned in this video, get in touch and we at NGA Travel will make sure you have a great day. Get in touch:

Street Food in Luang Prabang - WILD GRILLED BEE HONEY COMB! | Morning Market Lao Food Tour!
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week:
►T-shirts and caps available now:
Luang Prabang is an amazing historical city in Laos, and it also happens to be an amazing city for food. You’ll find an array of incredible Lao food to experience.
Morning Market - One of the best places to get started eating Lao street food in Luang Prabang is the morning market. It’s low-key, relaxing, the vendors are incredibly friendly, and there’s so much delicious food to try. From wild grilled beehive to khao piak sen noodles, the food is so good, it’s hard to ever go anywhere else when you’re in Luang Prabang. The food highlight for me was the grilled honey comb, since it was so rare and unique. Additionally, you’ll have a blast checking out all the ingredient at the market. Here’s what I ate:
Grilled beehive - 5,000 LAK ($0.60)
Mung bean cake - 5,000 LAK ($0.60) for 2
Naem
Khao gee - 5,000 LAK ($0.60) for 3
Noodle rolls - 10,000 LAK ($1.20
Khao piak sen - 15,000 LAK ($1.80) per bowl
Phosi Market - One of the biggest markets in Luang Prabang is Phosi Market. Unfortunately there wasn’t much pre-cooked food when we went there in the middle of the day, but luckily we found some amazing food.
Sai oua - Sai oua is the northern Laos version of sausage, and it’s a life-changer. This stall served some of the best sausage, not only that I’ve had in Laos, but in the world. You’ll find sai oua all over Luang Prabang. Price - 10,000 LAK ($1.20) each
Sticky rice feast - I desperately wanted a Luang Prabang sticky rice meal for lunch, so eventually after walking around a little we found the perfect spot. She had a variety of different Lao food stews to choose from and they all look great. All the dishes were delicious, but the best Lao food of the meal for me was the bowl of aw bon (or bon) - made from taro leaves.
Total price - 40,000 LAK ($4.79)
Finally, for dinner to finish off this Luang Prabang street food tour, we headed to the evening market, located perpendicular to the night market walking street. We ordered a Mekong fish and then some very interesting Lao dishes from the curry stall. The algae salad was particularly interesting and delicious.
Fish - 80,000 LAK ($9.58), farmed fish were considerably cheaper
Dinner total - 60,000 LAK ($7.18)
It was an amazing day exploring Lao street food in Luang Prabang. Luang Prabang is a food paradise.

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.

???????? THAILAND's UNIQUE EXPERIENCE at DEVASOM KHAO LAK
Art Thomya, a Thai singer/songwriter, will show you the charms of DEVASOM KHAO LAK, a luxury hotel with history.
++++++++++
RESONANCE of TAKOLA
Khao Lak is quite a world-class destination of Thailand which welcomes visitors from all over the world, especially beach lovers. It is situated in PHANG NGA province, Thailand
The first moment I walked into the hotel lobby, I felt something special.
Walking around the hotel was like riding a time machine. The design is really unique, a mix of several Asian heritages and symbols. I asked the staff members and they told me a story of TAKOLA which is a former name of TAKUAPA, the local district where the hotel is situated. This area used to be an international port over a thousand years ago. At that time, there were traders from many of the world's regions - India, Persia, China, and many more. All these cultures really influenced the architecture here at Devasom.
The interior design is, of course, in line with the landscape design. I can say this is a real luxury boutique hotel because each room is decorated differently, but shares something in common in terms of the design theme. The owner has very much attention to details, like carving on windows and doors. One thing I really love is the bathroom tub and it is connected nicely to the bedroom. You can be open or private at the same time!
If possible, you can stay in room with a pool. How nice it is to enjoy the sun with your own pool on a sunny day.
I never miss trying Spa at the hotel I visit. And here, I must say that it is really unique. I feel a mix of Roman, Turkish, and Asian baths, but you can have yourself pampered with a traditional Thai massage. Let's enjoy.
Not many hotels in the world have their own Tower where you have top views of the beach and the area day time and night time. How romantic it is for a couple to enjoy a candlelight dinner with a picturesque background.
This place is surrounded with nature. It is green all over with tropical trees and flowers that are taken care very well by the staff. Alright, it's time for a little adventure - biking around local areas.
Next to the beach is a local canal that we can kayak around and if you select the room on this side, you'll have a little pool facing the canal and you can see the golden sand beach from afar too.
Let's get fit by learning boxing. No, not just normal Thai boxing, but this is MUAY CHAIYA or an ancient MUAY THAI in Southern Thailand inherited for generations and was used in battle fields. Please get your body ready for this Thai Martial Arts session.
Being on vacation is not an excuse not to work out. In fact, it is a great time to do so, because your mind is free of worry and you are surrounded by the beautiful nature. Time to be a better version of yourself!
Last but not least, we can't live without...food. Thai food here is superp. I would recommend you to try Southern Thai food of which the taste is strong and spicy, but it is so good. The food presentation will get your appetite come easily. International food, esp. Seafood, is also yummy. There is a large variety in the menu too. Fusion food is also nice and presented to you like a piece of arts.
Breakfast buffet can't be missed. I really enjoyed the Local Menu of The Day. All ingredients are fresh and brought from local communities.
Before going back home, you can even shop for souvenirs at the hotel. As the owner is a collector, you will simply find home decorative items with cool design. And for family vacationers, kids room has everything!
Alright, it's time to go home, but I won't say goodbye. I'd rather say 'SEE YOU AGAIN' because I know I'll be back.
Thanks to Vietjet's several daily flight options between Bangkok and Phuket. Hope you were happy watching. Stay tuned for the next episode. Please subscribe!

Elephant Sanctuary - KHAO SOK - Best experience ever! | ???????????????????????????????? ????????
2:17 - Information about the elephant
5:47 - Cooking elephant food
7:24 - Elephant feeding
9:15 - Bathing with the elephant
In this film clip I visited Sonchana Farm & Elephant Sanctuary at Khao Sok National Park in southern Thailand.
This was one of the best things I have done in Thailand so far. At the elephant sanctuary I got the chance to feed, swim and scrub the elephant. My guide also gave me a lot of interesting information about the history of elephants in Thailand. I learned for instance, of how elephants were used for war, labour and the tourist industry.
Thailand is probably my favourite country in the world. The food, the people, the climate and the culture is amazing. There is always something to do in this beautiful country.
Come and join me when I travel around Thailand. I will be visiting some of the most popular tourist destination but I will also be visiting some of the more unknown destinations, i.e. the so called unseen Thailand to find the hidden gems for you.

Patong Food: All You Can Eat Barbecue Buffet Restaurant in Phuket Thailand. Subscribe: NEW THAILAND FOOD & TRAVEL VIDEOS EVERY WEDNESDAY! Pak Lak Barbeque Buffet Restaurant in Patong Phuket Thailand. Cooking and Eating Thai Food in Thailand Vlog.
This is a meal my family and I had recently at an all you can eat BBQ buffet restaurant in Patong Thailand.
Paklak BBQ Buffet restaurant is on Google Maps at
Pak Lak Buffet is in Patong in Phuket, about one kilometer from Patong Beach, and is open 5pm from pm till 12am every day.
They serve a wide variety of shellfish (clams, crabs, prawns and shrimps) as well as other seafood and all the seafood we had there was delicious! They also have a great range of plain and marinated meat – chicken, pork and beef and vegetables. You can choose what you want from the buffet and then you cook it yourself on the Thai barbecue they provide. They also have a range of premade food, salads, vegetables and desserts. It’s pretty hard to beat a Thai BBQ buffet, and it is all you can eat!
The meal we had in the video was 259 baht per person. The restaurant is well located, clean, and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. I’d definitely recommend visiting this place if you’re in Phuket or Patong Beach Thailand and you love a good all you can eat buffet. Check out my channel for lots more Thailand food and travel videos. Phuket travel guide and other videos from Koh Samui, Krabi, Bangkok and lots of other parts of Thailand!
Thai BBQ buffets are a dining experience of their own and this one has an extensive selection of extremely fresh seafood and meat. Surprisingly there were no long lines and huge crowds, but the restaurant was fairly full. After eating at this seafood buffet we sure felt like we got our money’s worth!

Travelling across Phuket from Kata Beach to Old Town to eat some amazing Thai food
I travel across Phuket from Kata Beach (where the food was largely generic and not as delicious as I had hoped) to Old Town (which, based on this meal was much, much better).
My family and I had spent several days taking it fairly easy on the beach but I, in particular, was disappointed by the food available there. So to finish our visit to the Island we hired a pretty expensive taxi to take us across Phuket via the 'Big Buddha' (which was indeed big) and the Wat Chalong temple (which was smaller) to Old Town, the main hub. Only having enough time for one meal we headed to Thalong Road which boasts some very pleasant and well-maintained Sino-Portuguese architecture and settled down to lunch at the recommended Kopitiam by Wilai which is a Thai/Nyonya (a Malaysian cuisine) fusion restaurant. We were certainly not disappointed.
Music: Cellsong - Gwei-Lo (with a tiny bit of Homework - Gwei-Lo). I was given special permission to use this very excellent music by Gav Johnson formally of Gwei-Lo. It is well worth checking out which includes this music and much more form Gav's musical career. I am hoping to continue using music from this unique resource in future videos.
Finally, I apologise for the jerky and wobbly sequences from this video. I clearly need to get a steady cam-type thing and use the tripod I do own more. Hopefully you'll see better from me in the future. Perhaps you will enjoy this regardless. Thank you.

Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all around Thailand, and heaps around Phuket. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it for 3 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at a Thai market is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your Phuket holiday, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!
Subscribe to my channel for my latest blog and for more videos on what to do in Thailand and what to eat in Thailand. New Thailand videos posted every Wednesday about Thailand: places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, street food, Thai recipes, eating Thai food, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel, including Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi and other Thailand destinations.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.
