DIVING MIYAKOJIMA | Okinawa, Japan
Back in August I visited Miyakojima, a beautiful remote island located near Okinawa. Miyakojima is famous for its landscape and I managed to take some nice footages so here it is! Enjoy :)

Vanilla Air: paralyzed man forced to crawl to plane as airline not wheelchair accessible - TomoNews
AMAMI, JAPAN — A well-known disabled rights activist experienced this first hand earlier this month, as he was attempting to board a flight back to his home in Osaka, Japan from the island of Amami.
Paralyzed from the waist down since a rugby injury in his teens, on June 3, Kijima was
informed by Vanilla Air staff that he would not be able to board the plane because wheelchair-accessible ramps and elevators were non-existent. When his friends offered to help by carrying him up the stairs, that solution was also shot down as a safety regulations violation. Upset and needing to get home, Kijima decided to get on the ground and crawl to the plane cabin, one step at a time. Once he reached the top of the staircase, he was permitted to take his seat.
Aside from a similar incident with an All Nippon Airlines flight in 2002, he claims he’s never been prevented from boarding a commercial aircraft as a result of his disability.
According to The New York Times, Vanilla Air has since apologized to Kijima, and as a result of the recent backlash, an electric wheelchair lift was installed last week.

The World's Most WOW Bridge In Japan
If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s like to ride a roller coaster sitting in your car, then the Eshima Ohashi Bridge in Japan might be your chance! Even looking at the pictures of this bridge gives us the chills! How do cars climb up the bridge? Why was it built this way?
First things first, this Japanese bridge is not as scary as it seems. Yes, it does look ridiculously steep from a far distance. It seems like cars would just slip and slide right back down.
But in fact, you don’t have to be a hell of a driver to go across this bridge. Thousands of cars cross it every day. It’s all a matter of perspective. If you look at it from a different angle, it looks more like an ordinary bridge with a relatively steep incline, but quite possible to handle. If you watch a video of a person driving over it, you might find yourself a little disappointed.

SUMMARY
- China: This is one of the highest bridges in the world right. It was built at an incredible 1509 feet (460 meters) across the Sidu River. Well, if you’re there, don’t look down.
- The funny thing about this French bridge is that its highest is 62 feet (19 meters) taller than the Eiffel Tower. It connects two large plateaus, so the view from the bridge itself is incredible and, honestly speaking, quite scary especially in foggy weather!
- What looks like a small wheel in London is a bridge! Every Friday it rolls out and becomes a usual insignificant bridge until it turns into a wheel again!
- This is the only bridge in the world that tilts! Normally it’s just a pedestrian bridge. But when there is a boat or a ship that needs to pass underneath it the entire thing tilts giving the water transport enough room to squeeze in.
- Unlike the previous super modern bridges, Ponte Vecchio was built back in the Roman times! Of course, it has been rebuilt and upgraded a few times since then. By the way, Vecchio is Italian for «old», so it definitely lives up to its name!

Rabbits are small mammals in the family Leporidae of the order Lagomorpha, found in several parts of the world. There are eight different genera in the family classified as rabbits, including the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), cottontail rabbits (genus Sylvilagus; 13 species), and the Amami rabbit (Pentalagus furnessi, an endangered species on Amami Ōshima, Japan). There are many other species of rabbit, and these, along with pikas and hares, make up the order Lagomorpha. The male is called a buck and the female is a doe; a young rabbit is a kitten or kit.Rabbit habitats include meadows, woods, forests, grasslands, deserts and wetlands.[1] Rabbits live in groups, and the best known species, the European rabbit, lives in underground burrows, or rabbit holes. A group of burrows is called a warren.[1]
More than half the world's rabbit population resides in North America.[1] They are also native to southwestern Europe, Southeast Asia, Sumatra, some islands of Japan, and in parts of Africa and South America. They are not naturally found in most of Eurasia, where a number of species of hares are present. Rabbits first entered South America relatively recently, as part of the Great American Interchange. Much of the continent has just one species of rabbit, the tapeti, while most of South America's southern cone is without rabbits.
The European rabbit has been introduced to many places around the world.[2]The rabbit's long ears, which can be more than 10 cm (4 in) long, are probably an adaptation for detecting predators. They have large, powerful hind legs. The two front paws have 5 toes, the extra called the dewclaw. The hind feet have 4 toes.[5] They are plantigrade animals while at rest; however, they move around on their toes while running, assuming a more digitigrade form. Unlike some other paw structures of quadruped mammals, especially those of domesticated pets, rabbit paws lack pads.[citation needed] Their nails are strong and are used for digging; along with their teeth, they are also used for defense.

One of the top tourist attractions in Tokyo is Robot Restaurant. Located in the Shinjuku nightlife district, it's one of the wildest shows on Earth.
The fantastical performance venue opened in July 2012, quickly garnering an international reputation.
Blaring pop music fills the room, warrior princesses fight 10-foot-tall transformer robots and sequined bikinis ricochet laser beams into every corner.
As you descend the technicolor stairwell into Robot Restaurant, it's like stepping into an alternate realty. It only gets wackier from there.
The robot show might seems like total chaos, but the high-voltage performance is actually a carefully planned routine that requires weeks of preparation.
As you descend the technicolor stairwell into Robot Restaurant, it's like stepping into an alternate realty. It only gets wackier from there.
Though the storyline might be hard to follow, separated the 90-minute show into several acts with breaks in between. It all culminates in an epic battle between warring robot armies -- pop music blasts, lasers strobe, and dancers flying every which way.
You'll probably want to capture every moment of the fantastical experience -- and we don't blame you.
But travelers will need to leave professional equipment at home. Smart phones and smaller devices are totally fine but large cameras are prohibited.
Hope you enjoyed our latest Japan vlog featuring the Robot Restaurant in Kabukicho

venomous viper show @Japan Snake Center
This event's vipers are Habu and Japanese copper head...
Staffs are reaching its venom liquid from viper's fangs...
Trimeresurus flavoviridis is a species of venomous pit viper endemic to the Ryukyu Islands of Japan. No subspecies are currently recognized.[2] Local common names include habu,[3] Okinawa habu,[4] and Kume Shima habu.[5]
Growing to an average total length of 4–5 feet (120–150 cm), with a maximum of 7.9 feet (240 cm)[6][dead link], this is the largest member of its genus. It is slenderly built and gracefully proportioned with a large head. The tail, however, is not prehensile. The crown of the head is covered with small scales. T. flavorviridis has a light olive or brown ground color, overlaid with elongated dark green or brownish blotches. The blotches have yellow edges, sometimes contain yellow spots, and frequently fuse to produce wavy stripes. The belly is whitish with dark coloring along the edges.[4]
T flavoviridis is restricted to the Japanese Ryukyu Islands, including Okinawa and the Amami Islands. The type locality is Amakarima Island (one of the Loo-Choo group) (= Keramashima, Ryukyu Islands).[1] It is common on the larger volcanic islands, but not present on the smaller coral islands.[4]
The species is often reported from the transition zone between palm forest and cultivated fields. It may also be found on rock walls and in old tombs and caves.[4]
The species is terrestrial[5] and mostly nocturnal. It often enters homes and other structures in search of rats and mice. Bold and irritable, it can strike quickly and has a long reach.[4]
Unlike most pitvipers, T. flavoviridis is oviparous and lays eggs, rather than bearing live young.[4] Mating takes place in early spring and up to 18 eggs are laid in mid-summer. The hatchlings, which emerge after an incubation period of 5–6 weeks, are 10 inches (25 cm) in length and look the same as the adults.[5]
To reduce the population of T. flavoviridis on the island of Okinawa, the small Asian mongoose (Herpestes javanicus), was introduced in 1910. Although the effects of this introduction have not been studied, in other such cases the negative effects on species of native birds, mammals, and herpetofauna have been a source of concern for wildlife managers.[7]
The incidence of snakebite in the Amami Islands is 2 per 1,000 people, which is considered very high. The venom of this species is of high toxicity, containing cytotoxin and haemorrhagin components,[8] yet the fatality rate is less than 1%.[9][dead link] If a bite victim receives medical care promptly, bites are not life-threatening. However, 6-8% do suffer permanent disability.[4]
LD50 values of 3.1, 4.3, 3.7, 2.7, 3.7, 3.8 mg/kg IV, 5.1 mg/kg IP and 6.0, 3.5-5.0, 4.5 mg/kg SC have been reported for the venom.[10]

Tokyo Narita International Airport Terminal 3
Tokyo Narita International Airport Terminal 3
Narita International Airport is also also known as Tokyo Narita Airport, formerly and originally known as New Tokyo International Airport.
Narita is the main international airport in Japan, handling around 50% of the country's international passenger traffic and 60% of its international air cargo traffic
On April 8, 2015, Narita International Airport Terminal 3 opened. This was a collaboration between NIKKEN SEKKEI, Ryohin Keikaku, and PARTY.
Narita International Airport Terminal 3 is exclusively for LCC (low-cost carriers). Precisely so, we focused on creating a completely low-cost airport with the architecture and design.
The budget for constructing this terminal was approximately half of the usual amount. Due to costs, we could not to install the typical moving walkways or illuminated signs.
Instead, to offer an exciting walking experience that is easy on the feet, we implemented running tracks used for track and field, and added signage for user-friendly guidance.
The key to the architecture and design is more than 2 into 1.
Consolidating two or more functionalities into one in pursuit of economic reasonability. In short, treasuring designs with a twist without spending a lot of money. It would be our great honor if Narita International Airport Terminal 3 is frequently used and forever loved by economically savvy travelers.

2015年4月8日オープンの成田空港 第3ターミナルを日建設計・良品計画・PARTY3社共同でつくりました。
この第3ターミナルは、LCC(ローコストキャリア)専用。
