Apartments in South Korea | Vlogging in South Korea (#2)
►I went along to see two newly built apartments in South Korea. Both apartments shown in the vlog look amazing. Later, I went to King Sejong Museum and was able to get some pictures.
Note: I understand the vlogs aren't exactly what you want to see. The storyline and the length of the vlogs aren't very good. Bear with me, I just started vlogging and I am learning my mistakes. Every vlog is going to get better.

[Secret Korea - Seoul] Ep. 24 Bongeunsa•Jogyesa / YTN (Yes! Top News)
There’s a hidden oasis in the heart of Seoul.
My name is Nichola Gwon and I am an artist in Seoul.
A 16-lane road, skyscrapers within the concrete jungle.
I visit Bongeunsa temple whenever
I want to escape from this complex environment.
Bongeunsa is a Buddhist temple located right across from COEX,
in the heart of the city.
Built 1,200 years ago, Bongeunsa was once the biggest Buddhist temple in Seoul.
You can feel the long history and its grandeur in various parts of Daeungjeon hall.
In Pan Jeon, the oldest building in Bongeunsa,
the woodblock books of the Buddhism scriptures are well preserved.
On the way to a gigantic figure of Buddha,
the mind feels with reverence while taking slow steps.
The harmony created from nearby tall buildings,
the forests and temples maybe an unfamiliar scene yet unique.
Bongeunsa is a great resting area for Seoul citizens
Now let us move on to another temple where we can have a different experience.
Jogyesa is a temple that boasts hundreds of years of history.
You can experience traditional Buddhist culture and mental training at Jogyesa.
You can escape from your worries while you create Mandala designs in the salt.
You can feel your mind at ease as you converse with the monk over a cup of tea.
Let us watch the night sky of the temple in the urban center after sunset.
The colorful lights from the city may be beautiful
but the cozy lights of the temple also show a different beauty.
Sound of the ringing bells spread throughout the concrete jungle.
As we listen to the gentle ringing,
our time spent in the temples will be long remembered with peace of mind.

[KOREA] Gyeonggi-do National Arboretum
[KOREA] Gyeonggi-do National Arboretum
경기도 국립수목원
Korea National Arboretum (KNA) is situated in Gwangneung forest, between Namyangju-si and Pocheon-si, in Gyeonggi province. Gwangneung was a royal forest, which surrounded a mausoleum of King Sejo of Chosun dynasty. Thus, over the last 500 years it has been strictly managed in order to minimize human disturbance.
The Gwangneung arboretum, which belongs to the Korea Forest Research Institute, was established in 1987 and has been open to the public since then. In May 24. 1999, it became the Korea National Arboretum. In KNA, there are 15 specilaized plant gardens, forest museum, forest zoo, herbarium and seed bank.
The missions of Arboretum are to conserve and develop plant resources through comprehensive research, and to promote the public's understanding of the forests.
The methods to carry out our missions are as follow:
To develop our regional reference collections and make them more
accessible to a large number of users.
To conduct research in systematics, biological
interactions, conservation gene resource and horticulture.
To support the conservation and sustainable use of plant
resources in Korea and abroad.
To inform the wider public the importance of forest and nature for human being.
To conserve the bio-diversity in Gwangneung forest.

South Korea on Arirang
The land of morning calm ... South Korea ... a beautiful country of hard working, honest and warm people. This video brings together various visual experiences I encountered during my four month stay edited on the national song of Korea ... the Arirang song. South Korea is one of the most developed countries today. Lets take a tour of Korea and see modern Korean cities. Seoul, Busan, Daegu and many more.
Welcome to Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Start your adventure at the K-Style Hub, a state-of-the-art visitor centre where South Korea’s past, present and future converge.
At the head of Gwanghwamun Square sits the statue of Sejong the Great, whose reign oversaw a golden age of literature, science and technology. The great leader sits before the grandest of Seoul’s five royal palaces, Gyeongbokgung, the Palace of Shining Happiness.
Seoul city, surrounding mountains to the southern tip of Busan and the magical island called Jeju features in this montage. Busan’s coastline offers scenery to match your every mood. Just a 40-minute subway ride from Busan Station is the city’s star attraction, Haeundae Beach. Seeking a little enlightenment? Make a wish at Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the few temples in Korea built by the ocean. While Busan’s story has been shaped by the sea, it’s a city equally defined by its mountains. On Mt Cheonma, hike to the observation platform to see “Dynamic Busan” spread out before you.
The colorful village of Gamcheon is symbolic of Busan’s new-found creative energy. The residents of Gamcheon transformed their neighborhood into one of the city’s top tourist #attractions. This creativity is echoed in Busan’s word-class museums, galleries and festivals. Welcome to Busan, a feast for all the senses, and the soul
This small enclave, located about 55 miles off the coast of South Korea, is remembered in history as “The Island of the Gods.” You’ll see why it has this nickname when you embark on a Jeju-do Island tour, and wander through its many natural wonders. Spend some time at the exquisite Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, or walk through the miles of paths that run along the coastline for a breath of fresh oceanic air. You can also spend hours in the Bijarim Forest, surrounded by ancient trees that reach over 80 feet into the sky..
