Residents and visitors in China were treated to beautiful flowers as Spring arrived. Aerial footage shows vast areas of cherry blossoms in the Guizhou Province.

Bright pink and white flowers carpeted the landscape in Gui'an New District and Qingzhen City. In Anshun City, face patterns made of yellow, white and purple rapeseed flowers covered the hillsides. In north China's Shanxi Province, pink-white apricot blossoms could be seen as well. In Jinzhai County of east China's Anhui Province, bright red azalea blossoms mixed in with green mountains. While cherry blossoms can be found around the world, the majority of species can be found in eastern Asia.

Wild Bird of Japan ／ Waterfowls　（水禽類）

The waterfowls of Koyaike pond ; Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture.

Koyaike is an irrigation pond constructed in A.D.731 by the Buddhist priest Gyoki.
Nowadays many people visit this pond as the place of recreation and relaxation.
More than 3,000 waterfowls come flying from the northern country to this pond every winter.
Most of them leave for the north on a spring day, but some of them stay in the pond.
Koyaike is, as it were, the urban oasis for the people and the waterfowls.

Winter In Japan HD

We are in Sapporo, Japan, where the 64th annual snow festival attracts about two million people, who come to see these splendid snow statues and ice sculptures. Over 200 sculptures are located in three sites spread throughout the city.

Early in the 20th century, Red-Crowned Cranes were hunted to the brink of extinction for their stunning plumage. Habitat losses due to agriculture and development have put further pressure on the Japanese crane. With support from the government, farmers began feeding cranes and the population now stands at about 1300.

These snow monkeys have lost their fear of humans, allowing us to observe them as they soak, groom, play and enjoy this natural hot tub. Babies will consume their first solid food at five to six weeks, but full weaning does not generally happen until 18 months. Japanese macaques are intelligent and adaptable. In the wild, a mother and her baby will usually avoid other troop members, but these macaques have modified their life style.

開花が遅れ、満開が4月10日までずれ込んで、気を揉ませた今年の恩田川の桜でしたが、最後には10日-14日の間美しい満開の花姿を見せてくれました。そして、15日には前夜からの風で花吹雪となってすっかり散ってしまいました。

The Oirase Stream in nature is beautiful

The Lake Towada, and the 14 kilometer source section between Nenokuchi and Yakeyama is called the Oirase Stream.
There are many various waterfalls along this stream, so we can enjoy the scenery that clean water flows and the woodsy fragrance.
This beautiful stream was created by rocks and sand produced by a volcanic eruption. Amid the surrounding natural forest, the stream gradually transformed itself into a beautiful form as time went by .
The upper reaches of the river form a scenic gorge with numerous rapids and waterfalls, and is one of the major tourist attractions of the Towada-Hachimantai National Park.
