Thermal springs of Thermio Paranesti are located 25 km north of the city of Paranesti, at an altitude of 620m. a small settlement with about 120 improvised huts made of sheet metal, who have visited the baths for 35-40 years.

ΠΑΡΑΝΕΣΤΙ ΑΓΩΝΕΣ ΝΕΣΤΟΣ TRAIL

Με την μεγάλη συμμετοχή αθλητών ολοκληρώθηκε ο Αγώνας Νέστος Trail 10 km στο Παρανέστι της Δράμας. Για δέκα συνεχόμενα χρόνια διοργανώνεται ο συγκεκριμένος αγώνας και αποτελεί ιδιαίτερη αναγνώριση της προσπάθειας των διοργανωτών και της συμβολής των εκατοντάδων εθελοντών στην προσπάθεια ανάδειξης του μοναδικού Παρθένου Δάσους Παρανεστίου με τη φιλοξενία και υποστήριξη που παρέχεται στους αθλητές που καταβάλλουν αξιοθαύμαστη προσπάθεια αναδεικνύοντας την σημασία και την αξία του «ευ αγωνίζεσθαι» στα παρθένα μονοπάτια της Παρανέστιας Γης, στην Οροσειρά της Ροδόπης.
