Yuzawa Nakazato Forest Adventure. This was fun! It takes about two hours in total including getting set up and an introduction lecture/practice. The highest point is about 15 metres up in the trees!

Dake Onsen is located just outside Nihonmatsu City in Fukushima. Not only is it a scenic town with streets lined with cherry blossoms in Spring and 5 minute access to a powder snow ski resort in winter, it has some of the best quality spring water in Tohoku.

The Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance (OREPA) held it's annual Concert for Nuclear Abolition in Bissell Park with music by The Emancipators, Joe Williams and the Raging Grannies.
John LaForge and Ralph Hutchison spoke on the state of nuclear weapons today and a skit was performed by the Catalystica Players.
Special guest speakers were Transform Now Plowshares members, Sister Megan Rice, Michael Walli and Greg Boertje-Obed who committed a CD action in 2012, when they cut through several fences at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge to reach the uranium storage bunker, hung banners, prayed, read allowed an indictment of the facility for war crimes and hammered on the outside wall of the bunker to symbolize a Bible passage that refers to the end of war: They will beat their swords into ploughshares.
They were given sentences from 3 to 5 years in jail but had the sentences overturned by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
120 marched 2 miles from the park to the Y-12 facility to hang peace cranes on the fence of the facility to mark the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
