Fort Concho operated as a frontier Texas fort from 1867 to 1889. Some of the soldiers stationed there were Buffalo Soldiers, units of African Americans who served with distinction. Today you can tour restored buildings and attend interactive events at the fort.

God was good in 2019! Thankful for my job and all the folks I get to share it with! ????
•This year I was honored to promote San Angelo in México and Canada amongst many other cities in Texas and in the U.S.
• Coordinated and conducted the Be a Tourist in Your Own Town Tour during Travel and Tourism week which won a 1st place TACVB award voted on by my peers in the travel industry.
• Hosted several groups including the Chevy Vintage Tour group, Masonic Conference, and for the 1st time in San Angelo the State NAACP Conference.
• Competed in the TACVB sales blitz where I was awarded first to close a contract and most revenue closed for San Angelo.
* Through a new learned sales technique of searching for leads, found the Cowboy Way Jubilee and sold them on San Angelo!The everything Cowboy event will be hosted at Historic Fort Concho April 30 - May 3, 2020.
•Completed my 3rd year of TTIA Travel and Tourism College and began work on my capstone project - Hispanic Heritage.
* Created the San Angelo Hispanic Heritage Page during Hispanic Heritage Month which received over 360,000 hits.
