A quiet moment1-Heritage Trail behind Fort George Park south
In Prince George, the Heritage trail starts at Carrie Jane Grey park in the west, under Highway 16W, through a residential neighborhood and winds down beside a Ducks Unlimited bird sanctuary to the Fraser River Behind Fort George Exhibition park. It continues upriver from there past a first nations burial ground, under Highway 16E and a historic CN Rail bridge to the confluence of the Nechaco and Fraser Rivers at Cottonwood Island. The trail ends at the Cameron Street Bridge in Prince George's North on the Nechaco river. We hope you enjoy the tour!
This scooterview is of the area beside the Fraser starting behind Fort George Park from the south.
Ancient Forests of Prince George
These images showcase spring and winter exploratory trips into the antique inland rainforests of North Central British Columbia, Canada. Located just over a hundred kilometres east of Prince george in the Rocky Mountain Trench, primordial Slim Creek Provincial Park was once considered for a new ecological reserve and now is a key piece of the surrounding old growth management areas below Driscoll Ridge. Amazingly, this primordial park is directly highway accessible, but has seen almost no human presence since its establishment over a decade ago in the late 1990's.

B.C. Rivers Day 2008 in Prince George
Children could hook a live fish during B.C. Rivers Day held Sept. 28 in Prince George at Fort George Park.
There was also a First Nations elders story telling area to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Simon Fraser's voyage down the Fraser River.
The eighth annual celebration was held from noon to 5 p.m. and featured performers at the Kiwanis Bowl, who include Legs N Wheels from Quesnel, who have just returned from recording in Nashville, Lakeside Ramblers, a bluegrass group from Cluculz Lake, and the First Nations showcase featuring Bradford Star.
BC Rivers Day is a part of the provincial event held the last Sunday of September. It offers people an opportunity to celebrate BC's spectacular river heritage and enables cross-cultural presentation of the very groups that made up the beginnings of our city.
Gold Prospecting in British Columbia July 2016
My name is Peter Hall. I'm a BCIT certified prospector since taking a prospecting course at British Columbia Institute of Technology about 10 years ago ( I took this course so I could learn about the geology of British Columbia and be able to understand what types of rocks I'm looking at when I go exploring and prospecting.
After taking that course I ending up getting a job for an exploration company ( building drilling platforms on the side of a mountain at 8500 ft. just north of Revelstoke. Every day we took a 20 minute helicopter ride to and from the job site. Back then I didn't know how to upload my videos to YT and ended up loosing all of my videos after my laptop computer crashed RATS. but now I know how to upload them for safe keeping and to share with my friends and others. Currently this video is my first time using the YT video editor but haven't figured it all out just yet, but I'm sure that I will as I get used to it. So for now enjoy it as it currently is.

Slesse Memorial Trail B.C. We didn't expect their to be a lot of flies on the trail going to and on the trail. Recommend bring some bug spray. Some bite!
Highly recommend a truck/vehicle with good clearance off the ground. We didn't drive to the start of the trail. Had to walk about 1 hour to the trail.
Did not make it to the top! Not for the faint-hearted
