Forgiveness.
It’s a difficult road for most, even longer and tougher for the Dene of Fort Simpson and the surrounding Deh Cho area of the Northwest Territories who survived residential school.
Way of the Heart showcases the high hopes for the future of the new, $1.3-million Sacred Heart Church building among the people of the Deh Cho region, including healing the relationship with the Catholic Church – in part, by incorporating the Dene language, spirituality and traditions into the Mass and other ceremonies.

Best Things To Do In The Northwest Territories - Canada Road Trip Travel Documentary
In this video, we share some of the best things to do in the Northwest Territories, including Yellowknife, Inuvik, and Tuktoyaktuk!
Welcome to the NWT!
With more than one million square kilometres of land area and a population of less than 50,000, the Northwest Territories is about as wild as it gets. It's certainly not an easy area to visit (many places are fly-in, many roads are gravel, and distances are vast) but for those who make the effort, there are incredible things to experience.
With boreal forest, arctic tundra, some of Canada's greatest waterfalls, a vibrant indigenous culture, and boundless wilderness, this is an adventurers paradise!
We explored the NWT from August 16 - September 1st, 2017!

Special Note: We just released the Canada Saver Card, a physical discount card that gets you discounts at a variety of attractions, adventures, and activities across Canada! From helicopter tours to rafting, fishing, museums, and horseback rides, save money on all of them for less than $30! -

Canada's Road to 150 is a 150-day Canada-wide multi-media road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?
We will drive to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim is to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.

I went to Yellowknife Airport. I'm going to go a little farther today. As a matter of fact, many tourists move in a line. There are prominent sculptures. It is a white bear. Looking at the white bear, I feel that it is close to the North Pole. The plane I was waiting for arrived. I boarded the plane to move to a remote place about half a mile from Yellowknife to the west. Photo Simpson is the gateway to the national park. A small town in the Arctic that humans are hard to live. Though it is now only a few thousand people, the city once flourished as a fur trade center. The Heritage Park was preserved as a historic park, with the trading company building remaining at that time.

Rving North to Alaska ~ Bears and Bison Oh My, beyond Fort Liard, Northwest Territory, Canada
In this episode we explore beyond Fort Liard and turn the truck wheels 177 miles north to Fort Simpson on the Liard Trail. Along the way we meet and pickup a hitchhiker, Jens aka Noiregl Noprob, a traveler from Germany along the way after seeing numerous black bear along the road with him. We enjoyed a great afternoon before we parted ways and headed back home. Our sightings for the day included numerous bears and bison, an unexpected Liard River crossing on a ferry and seeing the mighty Mackenzie River in person. (Season 2 Episode 10)
