Fowey harbour boating
Lovely couple of hours puttering around Fowey and its rivers in a little rental boat with an outboard motor. £40 for 2hrs might sound a lot but when you're half a mile up the river surrounded by nothing but trees and the sounds of birds...well it's probably worth it.

Around Fowey
A short video using still photographs of Fowey in Cornwall. On June 23/24 the town will be holding a mussel festival celebrating the shellfish. Local chefs will be demonstrating their cooking skills with mussels.
Helicopter rescue in Fowey harbour, Cornwall UK August 2009
A lady fell off a quay in Fowey, Cornwall in August 2009. A land trip to hospital would have been dangerous, so an airlift swung into action, thanks to the Royal Navy, the Harbour Master's team and the RNLI. The patient receovered in hospital, I understand. The rescue was watched by hundreds of tourists.
